    bulls and back troubles

This summer we put one six year old bull down, the vet said he had a back injury and had lost the use of his back legs. Now it looks like we have another six year old bull with the same problem. has anybody else had this problem or any suggestions?

Could be from bulls fighting and getting an injury.

Had a yearling Angus bull get that a few years back. Got hit sideways by a heifer while mounting another cow. Couldn't use his legs for 4 weeks. He drug himself around with his front legs, and we moved his feed/water to him 3-4 times/day.

The day I went out to shoot him, my Grandpa met me halfway to the barn and said, "Don't think you'll need that rifle." When I went in the stall, he was standing up looking at me. Guess he had an angel on his shoulders that day. Got 3 more seasons out of him, too.
