A new marketing system may be evolving that eliminates the CWB after a farmer drops his grain in the elevator pit, and has it officially graded.
The CWB can stage the sale, contract with grain farmers, and supply the financing to put the deal together.
The CWB would be eliminated from the grain logistics business, and would concentrate on marketing tools for the flexibility of a producer, putting together the end use customer and the grain producer. The elevator co.'s would be the grain logistics managers and concentrate on efficiently delivering the grain in the best manner possible, ending us with a more efficient low cost system, with quality maintained.
