About ten days ago I got a call from a landman about the possibility of crossing my land with a pipeline. I told him I had no interest in a pipeline. He started the BS about no options but I cut him pretty short when I suggested he contact my lawyer! As soon as I mentioned his name...I got a whole new attitude! He said well they sure would do whatever they could to re route the pipeline!
The lawyer I deal with is in the process of, in all probability, breaking the "no pipeline rental" scam the gas companies have enjoyed for years. He is working with a group of producers in the Rocky area. He told me he has been offered the world if he lets it slide!
