Should the Province borrow for infrastructure ?

Am interested in hearing what you folks think about Lyle Oberg's proposal to borrow 7 billion dollars to address some of the more pressing infrastructure needs in the province.

Definitely not! Not when the Klein government is completely out of control with their spending right now!
From the time Klein came into power until the present day spending, after population increses and inflation, has risen $6.6 billion a year! Clean up the excesses and you don't need to borrow anything?
On top of this we send how much money to Ottawa for nothing in return? How about saying "Guess what? Our roads are getting a little shaky so we can only send you $5 billion this year, as we need the other $7 billion to fix up the roads? Sorry but we can't keep supporting the rest of the welfare bums in this country...in the manner they've become accustomed to!"
Of course the Klein government would have a problem doing that as they don't collect the taxes in the first place? So I guess they could get down on their knees and do some heavy begging, right?
Maybe if the Tories had some guts they would take back some of our rights(and money) and stop acting like Ottawa was GOD! Maybe our politicians need to import some Frenchmen to teach them how to get off their knees and act like men?

I am concerned with the possibility of the province heading back into debt. The letters to the Editor in todays Journal are all in opposition to the borrowing.
