Feed Barley (I thought it was malt when I planted it)

Are we going to see a spring rally on feed barley in southern alberta.
Curently bids range from 2.20 delivered to 2.26 at the bin on the grid it should be 2.35 at the bin.(western) may delivery. In our area of southern AB.

With the funds buying a little corn and it sneaking up a bit will we see some of the lots upping their bids and to what levels????

If you've got barley left to price into the feed market at what price delivered lethbridge are you willing to let it go for boys??

    Thanks

Unless weather kicks in this spring, barley has a tough struggle to move higher between now and July. Depending on quality (let severely sprouted go), feed wheat is likely a better hold - more blending opportunities.

Should a person buy corn calls to offset sales (not now but on the next dip)? To me, this is the better way to participate in a summer weather rally.

Charliep I could not agree more. Let the barley go, I don't see much upside. If you want to gamble do it on paper.
