Yes went for a short drive tonight and it crazy what two warm days will do after the poison rain fell from the sky.
Once the life is pounded out of the soil then it takes a few days of trying to grow then yellowing.
I doubt this will end well.

Cereals turning yellow in Alberta also, but it is not from excess water. Worst moisture start in at least 35 years for surface moisture. There is a little subsoil moisture yet from the snow.

Are the “rains” forecast over the next five days supposed to get any of the very dry areas in Alberta ?
Seem to be changing this 2-5 day forecast every 4 hours

Through Nutrien , about 1.3 x the cost of 11-51

                        Yes low salt index

We used it on all canola acres then tried this 100 ac trial on a 1/2 section of wheat

As is typical in a dry year, the rain forecasts and amount evaporate to zero just before they are supposed to appear.

Same as when its too wet, every cloud drops rain.

Canola under such stress that plants are dying from leaves with 5-10% damage. Not many plants, but a few.

Biggest rain 2/10” rest of sprinkles never got the concrete fully damp.

                          Next week…

I was talking to a neighbour. Went to spray a field of barley. Decided not to as the field was so dry the barley was turning yellow and dying. There has been some showers but very spotty. Where it hasn’t rained hilltops in seeded fields are bare. Getting very dire imo. Supposedly a chance of showers on Monday.

In Bourgault’s more recent advertising magazine there was some trials on different sources of phos., didn’t appear to be a benefit either way. I was actually surprised. Looking forward to your results Furrow.
