    Friday Crop Report on Thursday!

Good morning May the 4 th be with you!

Finally a few warm days to get the ground warming up so seeding can start in our area.

Liberal yesterday took a petition to Ottawa to ban glyphosate in canada it had 18000 signatures from down east. They are going to come after farms if Trudeau ever gets a Majority.

Boboo did something with seeds that I haven’t really got into but she said lower fert and drought tolerant for Africa.

    Crop report

In our area zero field work attempted as of last night on the hour drive home back to Regina.

But this is the area that had heavy snow last week again.

I am hearing seeding is well on its way in Elrose to SW corner and north of 16 is just starting. Call from carrot river and Kamsack they are just going. One guy going at Indian head.

Saturday till Monday the weather office is confused what’s going to happen. I’m hoping no rain.

We should be going like I earlier said Monday to Friday next week.

Snow geese just arrived, you can spot the case harvested fields I guess.

Prices were dropping till Putin had a drone attack. But down this morning. How many pre sold lots? How many sold some? How many presold none?

All hooked up no place to play so we’re doing other stuff.

Good luck seeding and stay safe.

Banning glyphosate and fert cutbacks will be the least of our worries if this creature gets back in. You may not even have your home quarter left if goes ahead with his agenda. Very concerning to what’s coming, some is already here.

We need to prep ourselves for the coming coup in canadian politics.

Typically a party with the most seats but shy of majority is allowed to form a coalition and govt. That has happened several times in Canada. Usually takes a couple months to sort out after an election.

In 2025 you are going to see something different and it will be the end of Canada. PP will have the most seats but not a majority, and Trudeau and Singh are planning on forming a coalition to block him within hours of the election.

The stage is already being set.

What we do after that, I have no idea. But Canada as we know it will be done. If Moe and Smith havent asserted themselves big time in the next 2 yrs, its done.

Bit of action around Melfort and Tisdale some NH3 going down and some seeding, still some snowbanks along the bushlines. Drying up pretty good at my place too, maybe another week might be able to try something. I have hills so hills drying up but the bottoms still too wet so have to wait.
As far as the disaster that is Trudeau just watch what’s going on with the Dutch farmers. They’ll try the same shit here offer buyouts and get farmers off the land because the progressives are so smart and know best. All under a guise of saving the planet but in reality they just want to control everyone’s lives.

There was just a survey done showing 30% of recent canadian immigrants or decedents of recent immigrants are planning to leave the country.

There is going to be one hell of a big bill to pay one day and its going to fall all on certain groups in this country.

I have a hair trigger on my CGE if Trudeau is still PM in 2 yrs.

Lots of productive immigrants hate the liberals. Maybe not the ones who have been simply walking across the border to get scooped up.
Most liberals say Trudeau’s time is up and are sick of his entitlement.

Seeding in full swing here in the dust. Grains in but waiting on the alfalfa.

First seeding started here 10 days ago. Extraordinarily dry here. Top 4 to 6 inches has some moisture. Powder dry underneath. Weeds starting to show up. Driving through almost all sloughs even with the sprayer, no ruts. Did I mention +30 here today, sapping up what little moisture there is.

Still wet in dips and field ditches, frost coming out in yard, water on gravel. We know SFA in subsoil, just a moist top, a few windy HOT days away from too dry for even Germ. Stir the soil and POOF! Gone to heaven as Water vapor...major greenhouse gas...might KEEP us cooler? right chuck?

Sad part is there are “farmers” on here and within the NFU who are cheerleading this on

Oh yes, it's beyond common sense. I watched then NFU president Nettie Wiebe March with the peasant movement at the WTO in Seattle in 1999. It seems to be part of their manifesto to make us all peasants.

We are still a week away from starting. Had a spin with the sprayer yesterday and almost got it sunk in a bog. Cant see the wet spots in the wheat stubble very well. Gotta let this dry a bit.

This is right down the socialist playbook. There is a reason Winston Churchill said “Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy“?

But we have a new form of it now. We now have a large group of voters who vote to hurt another group.

I dont know about anyone else but I have never voted to hurt another industry, even ones I dont like. If PP came out tomorrow and said he wanted to shut down PEI potatoes, that wouldnt get my vote. But we have millions of people aligned against our largest GDP contributors Oil Gas Mining Ag doing just that.

Did the same.Need another week.Neighbour started yesterday but all he is doing is ringing the sloughs then filling in the area between. With the windy warm forecast alot of the potholes should go away.
