One good thing in the feds budget

Feds have agreed to fund the development of a Canadian Foot and Mouth vaccine bank.

"Budget 2023 proposes to provide $57.5 million over five years, starting in 2023-24, with $5.6 million ongoing, to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to establish a FMD vaccine bank for Canada, and to develop FMD response plans. The government will seek a cost-sharing arrangement with provinces and territories."

If cattlemen want to start promoting vaccinated beef in this Covid climate of death and lawsuits, save your money & sell your cows now

When your consumer reads, your “Vaccinated by your dependable Pfizer” label on your rib steaks in the store, you’ll understand . Pars

So you don't vaccinate your cattle at all?
Vaccination is a good portion of any herd health program. Or it should be.
What do you think happens when you ship your cattle to a backgrounder or into the feed lot? When ever cattle are comingled the highest morbidity / mortality will be in unvaccinated animals. In order to protect the investment made in the animals, backgrounders and feedlots follow vaccination programs. I think most if not all use them.
