Downunder why don't you post some positive stories and successes from Australia instead of focusing on the bad ones that show Aboriginals in such despair?
Its a racist stereotype to only show aboriginals as thieves and alcoholics without showing the successes of aboriginals who lead successful productive lives.
I know you are probably not wanting be seen a racist and are a supportive and caring person.

I am white and of european ancestry calling out another white person of european ancestry.
Racism is when you attack and stereotype other people because of their race.

Duh! i was describing what downunder was doing and calling the stereo typing out.
In his first post it was clear the issue he raised was about aboriginals and even though he was carefull not to mention them in the second story, we know what he was getting at.
Right from the start Downder's posts have been feeding into the racist sterotype without him accepting and realizing what he is doing.

Just remember that before you go correcting everyone else’s grammar mistakes. Grammar and spelling mistakes drive me nuts but I’m not enough of a grammar Nazi to correct anyone. Think we can all agree that education not putting as much emphasis on spelling as once was is sad as English is a shitty hard language grammar wise to look intelligent conversing in. I call it the democratic/multicultural language. It’s Old German’s bastard child who hung out in northern France for hundreds of years and has a some distant cousins in Northern Europe who came and beat them up a few times. My last name is prime example of the vowel shift and resultant spelling changes. Try and do genealogy work and it is a nightmare as the English starved most of the relations during the potato famine.
