    Seeding weather

Modelling, gut feel, historical data suggests a late break to season here in oz maybe very very late but we have some subsoil moisture.

Just back from WA australian premier wheat canola producing state perth there capital 1.5mm of rain for the 3 months of summer doubt they have much sub soil moisture. But its a big state.

Are you guys looking at potential seeding delays if you get more snow.

And some experts saying USA is in ok shape wheat im talking others say worse than reported.

EU a bit on the dry side as well.

PS if i had a crystal ball and could pick a drought coming would be all wheat and barley no canola or legumes but i dont so stick to rotation.

Alot of dry seeding happens here on presumption of rain in the ensuing weeks some times it works sometimes miserable failure

Will be a normal start for most regardless of snow
No frost and no subsoil moisture in most areas will mean snow will disappear very quick by end of April .
80% of western Canada will need significant rain to grow an average crop

Looks like a normal start. Good subsoil and some snow cover. Temp are a little cool , but it should warm up quicker than last year, less snow.
