    Stormy Saturday in Southern Saskatchewan

Better stick our noses out and go pushing snow. It was a pretty good blow all night but not that much snow, probably half of what was predicted as a couple of inches.

Just out pushing, definetely a stay home kinda day, not much snow but with this wind the drifts are large and visibility poor.

Up here in the NE it’s sunny and warm but not melting. No snow out of this storm but wind is starting to get a little stronger.
Don’t need or want anymore snow.
We have lots of snow for a decent runoff already.

The stubbles and hay fields are full now, for sure. One of the first winters in a lot of years that we are filled up. 👍

Gosh we had 6 days of southeast wind. Quit Friday after 4” of snow. No frost and ground is dry so all this snow should soak in. Looks like it’s going to slowly warm up aiding that. Still will need a bunch of spring moisture to take pressure off. It’s gradually getting drier since 2021. Nowhere near droughts you guys south are in now but the trend here is slowly getting dry again. Judging by amount of heifer calves and twins I’ve got we are in for a dry summer.
