    Kitimat LNG

Who are we going to sell LNG from Kitimat to? Just read a Financial Post article which said skippy gave the Japanese prime minister the same lecture that he gave Scholz. Why build the facility if we are not going to use it?

    I am truly confused.

Would not be surprised to see it mothballed at the end of the day .

Tokyo NG utilities are already contracted.

Japan is the world's largest LNG importer since they shut down all their Nuclear plants that are still siting idle.

They look at Kitimat to supply up to 10% of their needs. They would like to see the second phase of the project go for obvious reasons as Canada has the maybe the cheapest supply due to stranded production.

        Kitmat will export 6.5mmt
        Japan imported 72mmt
China reported 64mmt but who knows?

So basicly Japan wants all the current scheduled production plus some from the second phase.

All they can get out of PMJT is some indication he will approve the second line and reign in his attack dog Guilbeault.

As far as I am concerned NG is the the greenest most efficient way to produce power and we can supply it. But there again that would take common sense.
