How would you know from visiting a single beach in the last 5 or 10 years whether sea levels are rising mm per year?
Did you keep track of the seal level with a measuring stick for 365 days 24 hours a day? Quite the feat during a vacation let alone for the other 350 days of the year for 10 years.
Have another drink and snooze and leave the math and science to the scientists.

The flat earthers like jazz post one beach area that happens to see a decline in tide levels over time. But they dont know that sea level rise varies around the globe depending on a lot of factors.
But if you don't pay attention to the science of sea level rise it's no surprise that climate change deniers would be misinformed.
Read the full article at NASA which explains all the complexities and provides a map of the world that shows the variation. Tofino is one site where sea levels are not increasing and appear to be decreasing.

As discussed in our last Sea Level 101 blog post, we know sea level on the open ocean isn’t really flat. A number of factors combine to determine the topography of the ocean surface.
Global sea level rise is complex as well. To begin with, it has multiple causes, including the thermal expansion of the ocean as it warms, runoff of meltwater from land-based ice sheets and mountain glaciers, and changes in water that’s stored on land. These factors combine to raise the height of our global ocean about 3.3 millimeters (0.13 inches) every year. That rate is accelerating by another 1 millimeter per year (0.04 inches per year) every decade or so.

Another factor that makes sea level rise complex is that it’s not uniform around the globe. If you look at a global map of sea level rise, you’ll find it’s happening rapidly in some places and more slowly in others. This means that although sea level rise affects coastal areas all over our ocean planet, some regions feel its effects sooner and more severely than others. This is reflected in future projections of sea level rise, with many cities in Asia expected to be among the hardest hit localities. Global average sea level has risen 8–9 inches (21–24 centimeters) since 1880.
In 2021, global sea level set a new record high—97 mm (3.8 inches) above 1993 levels.
The rate of global sea level rise is accelerating: it has more than doubled from 0.06 inches (1.4 millimeters) per year throughout most of the twentieth century to 0.14 inches (3.6 millimeters) per year from 2006–2015.
In many locations along the U.S. coastline, the rate of local sea level rise is greater than the global average due to land processes like erosion, oil and groundwater pumping, and subsidence.
High-tide flooding is now 300% to more than 900% more frequent than it was 50 years ago.
If we are able to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, U.S. sea level in 2100 is projected to be around 0.6 meters (2 feet) higher on average than it was in 2000.
On a pathway with high greenhouse gas emissions and rapid ice sheet collapse, models project that average sea level rise for the contiguous United States could be 2.2 meters (7.2 feet) by 2100 and 3.9 meters (13 feet) by 2150.

I have degrees in bovine excrement management and agricultural field crops production.
(When younger wielded a mean 6 tine fork in the barn and cleared land without a rock picker)
I am told the tectonic plates are moving away/towards each other at an inch or two a year. Continental beaches would change too.
I'm also told that the planet is never perfectly round. Various gravitational forces slosh that general depth around all the time.
All believable if you're settled on the evidences of geology and physics.
I see no evidence for the greatest wealth transfer in history being levied on the people who have cheap energy and food. So the 1 in 10 of the worlds people who go to sleep hungry, can be told the planet isn't 2 degrees hotter in 150 years. They sure won't be seeing the cash.

Measured from a satellite FLOATING 100 miles above the ocean that has tides,storm surge,waves up to 60 ft, temp expansion and contraction,currents that change seasonal,etc,etc,etc.
Measuring in fractions of a centimeter?
