Best description of Davos I have seen is it is where the elite go to decide what Science they need to fund this year to support what they need said.

Those of us who have been at organized meetings, school boards, city council, RM council, we have all seen this before, I call it Meeting Momentum.
The problem and solution get stronger as individuals offer their advice, falsely assuming they are smarter than the previous speaker.
Huge egos at Davos that need to be stroked in front of countless cameras.
Our guy would like to have been there but maybe didn't want to risk being booed at again on the world stage . . . less cannon fodder for the conservative election ad team.

Wonder how many climate refugees chuck is going to take in.

But what about all the fake “green” jobs, will they transition back to the oil patch?

                      There is little joy in wokeville this week;

PMJT Passes on attending WEF. He was Klaus's poster boy at one time and loved the brief limelight.
NZPM Jacinda resigned with her country fed up with left wing woke ideas and lock downs.
Bloomberg sticks a knife in a near dead Beyond Meat with an article saying it was never more than a fad.
The Guardian says carbon credits are a scam and worthless to Co like Apple and Disney that spent huge dollars to greenwash.
LA Times say big storm are weather and not due to the usual Climate Change explanation.
Coal makes the news cycle as the biggest growth % in energy sources.
Blackrock blinks on ESG Investment and offers Florida zero ESG pension funds.

Seems to be some small amount of sanity.
Be interesting to see how they spin what happened at WEF. Very little is expected. Klaus now charging $250,000 per for the high rollers. Starting to get a stink that follows you.

Nobody believes your about face bullshit! LOL
I don't know if this is true. But it sounds plausible.
1 ton of rare earth minerals produces about 1 ton of radioactive waste (Institute for the Analysis of Global Security). That means the U.S. wind industry may well have created more radioactive waste than our entire nuclear industry produced in spent fuel

Pierre Poilievre; “We must permit Quebec to build more hydroelectric dams to provide the electricity that will be needed to power electric cars" “The future of our green economy depends on [critical] minerals and green electricity.”

Oh shit Crypto Polly is in favour of a green economy too! Who you gonna vote for now!

Sorry, nobody is against more hydro if economical to build. And you get approval.
These obstacles always come from your side of the room.

Such as Chuck's very own NFU being publicly against the site C dam in BC. Which he refuses to acknowledge. Why this issue is so important to a supposed farmer organization is a mystery.
