PMJT Passes on attending WEF. He was Klaus's poster boy at one time and loved the brief limelight.
NZPM Jacinda resigned with her country fed up with left wing woke ideas and lock downs.
Bloomberg sticks a knife in a near dead Beyond Meat with an article saying it was never more than a fad.
The Guardian says carbon credits are a scam and worthless to Co like Apple and Disney that spent huge dollars to greenwash.
LA Times say big storm are weather and not due to the usual Climate Change explanation.
Coal makes the news cycle as the biggest growth % in energy sources.
Blackrock blinks on ESG Investment and offers Florida zero ESG pension funds.

Seems to be some small amount of sanity.
Be interesting to see how they spin what happened at WEF. Very little is expected. Klaus now charging $250,000 per for the high rollers. Starting to get a stink that follows you. Reply With Quote

Such as Chuck's very own NFU being publicly against the site C dam in BC. Which he refuses to acknowledge. Why this issue is so important to a supposed farmer organization is a mystery. Reply With Quote

"Suppose that Scotland’s CO2 emissions fell tomorrow to zero, i.e., that, at midnight, the country ceased to exist.

Then according to the “Model for the Assessment of Greenhouse Gas Induced Climate Change” (MAGICC), based on the latest IPCC climate models, the reduction in the Earth’s temperature in 2100 would be…undetectable."

Sounds like a description that could be used for Canada.
But if we just sunk back under the oceans the world would loose a huge carbon sink.

Little Jazz is that you and all the other flat earth climate change deniers at the chalkboard? Because it nicely sums up your lack of understanding.

Here is a clue. Sea level rise occurs in relatively small increments over decades and centuries. Its not a tsunami! Reply With Quote

Observed sea level since the start of the satellite altimeter record in 1993 (black line), plus independent estimates of the different contributions to sea level rise: thermal expansion (red) and added water, mostly due to glacier melt (blue). Added together (purple line), these separate estimates match the observed sea level very well. NOAA Climate.gov graphic, adapted from Figure 3.15a in State of the Climate in 2018.

Thats way too much grade 2 science for chuck to handle on his own.

Chuck acts like there is still a 2 mile high ice sheet over canada. Shock twist chuck, that melted 12,000 yrs ago when humans were still wearing bearskin loin cloths.

If climate change was real, would any bank lend to you to build on the ocean front. Where is the climate insurance provisions. Hmm, do I need a sump pump. Banks and underwriters dont seem to care, therefore its not real.

Here is what Saudi Arabia is building. A 100 mile long skyscaper city, you guessed it, on the ocean front.

  • Jan 24, 2023 | 08:19 89 Coastal flooding from sea level rise is already a reality in some parts of the world.

But flat earthers will ignore the overwhelming evidence and in some cases die in a home made rocket trying to prove the earth is flat!

So I am not expecting the flat earthers on Agrisilly to change their mind on sea level rise or human caused climate change anytime soon.

jazz's Avatar Jan 24, 2023 | 09:00 90 So at 1mm rise every decade its not a climate crisis. Not even close.

Obama, Biden, Gore, DeCaprio, Gates and all the climate bedwetters arent worried about it with their mansions on the ocean front, so neither should we.

It should be dismissed totally from your mind and policy. A comet strike is much more likely. Reply With Quote
