Of course it is. It will snowball until we relearn the rules of money and the dignity of making it. Really 'making' it.

The ones making the rules have never experienced the making it part.

      Unless printing it counts.

So often the "public" asks for more rules for big business not realizing big business welcomes them because they reduce or eliminate competition from small and medium size businesses as explained above.

An example is when everyone called for more government oversight/inspections when Lakeside/Nielson bros got shut down.
The solution resulted in most small local Bucher shop slaughter plants disappearing.
The weren't closed by government it was not worth their trouble to continue.
The financial incentive didn't justify the effort.
The ones that remaining charge more making the direct to consumer access for producers more expensive and again less return the effort or less financial appeal to the consumer.
Big Buisness wins with more regulation.

Used to be said the only thing between the between the beef producer and the consumer was one guy with a knife.
I know guys that can do beautiful extra clean job of breaking down a beef but won't touch it if for sale to consumer as if reported they will make it appear you were sell roadkill.
Now government regulations are the biggest hurdle and getting more of a choke point as we go on.

An ESG law should start in Quebec and Ontario. Ffffft. What a joke.

Vermillion heading to Europe in quest for black gold. Sad isn’t it? What a wreck our country has become.

Problems only gonna get worse, as our carbon tax goes up and regulations and red tape we’re just gonna chase our jobs away to other countries that are easier to deal with. This government is completely clueless of the ramifications of the carbon tax and regulation as it pertains to manufacturing and businesses. All of this to look good in the eyes of the United Nations.

Looks like Mexican‘s are paying carbon taxes. $1.85 a liter for gas and diesel. How does that work?

Canada will give nothing back to the farms the want to take away

Looks like business owners are heading to the exits shortly anyway. Trudeaus Canada, all regulation, all stick.

Tsunami of small business owners planning to exit, putting $2 trillion on the line
Three in four small business owners plan to exit their companies in the next decade

That is well on its way to happening.
Works in with the Liberal immigration plan.
Locally south Asians are predominant in the fast food and self serve gas stations. Virtually all the Hotels.
                            Also Co-op into everything.
Inspectors, government oversight, checklists, payroll taxes, labor issues are some of the things making buisness less attractive.
South Asians have work arounds for most of those problems.
Inspectors are not looked at in the same way.
They will make it all work like home.

The Trudeau government is not clueless,,, it knows full well what it's doing, and is fully aware of the implications it's policies will have, particularly on Western Canada.
The Trudeau government is doing this,,, intentionally!
