    Soverignty Acts

Sask passed first reading today with some of the NDP voting in support.

Kudos on those NDP members for seeing the light.

    Alberta tabling theirs today.

How could anyone capable of thinking possibly think that sovereignty is a bad thing?

Wel all the commies at the trough are squealing today. Worried about the gravy train coming to an end.

Can’t wait until smith puts a knife in that equalization program. Bet Quebec announces separation the next day.

It takes more than one province to get rid of the equlaization program. And Harper and Kenney and now Poilievere have no interest in getting rid of it so you're out of luck and Danny Smith will likely lose the next election unless she keeps buying more votes at a pace that would make the liberals look frugal. LOL

I'm still waiting to hear CC's solutions. Apparently status quo is satisfactory.

Hate to say this but I hope Trudeau and Singh don’t annul the marriage for a while so these sovereignty acts are passed and implemented. I fear if a conservative government were elected federally this would be forgotten about but this transcends whoever is in power at the federal level.

Maybe Kenney will join the Liberals and sit there bobbing his head too.

Kenney, what a drama queen. Looks like he is trying to make today about him. Just proves he had to go!

Some are projecting a Federal election next spring. What would Trudeau’s reason be for this timeframe? Use the Alberta election and the impending Sovereignty act to swing votes in Eastern Canada in the Liberal’s direction?

Maybe Quebec could take their share of the federal debt with them when they separate ? After all , fair is fair.

think this would be a good time for the areas in sask that have been supporting the areas that do not have oil or potash to ask for a new deal from the province.Health care in the southeast is terrible. If your RM does not have oil or Potash you are probably the Quebec of Saskatchewan.

Kind of a straw man argument. You’re comparing apples to oranges.
