    Further "madness"

I read today from the UK a story about a French goat with "bse". Who knows what the real story is here - it's so full of garbage reporting you couldn't guess the possible implications. Check out "http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/3967211.stm"

The closest thing that a goat could have would be in the TSE family and that would be scrapie, which is also something that sheep get as well.

This goat supposidly had a brain sample indistinguisable from BSE - it was not scrapie - according to that press report. Oh and when they injected some of it into a mouse brain the mouse developed BSE not scrapie. It will be interesting to see the proper test results.
