Friday Crop Report on a Thursday!

Good Morning it's windy and windy and well really windy in Saskatchewan. I will say that the most significant thing to happen to Ag in Western Canada is Pod Shatter Canola. PERIOD! Days like we have had the last three your Asshole would have been in full clench mode as you waited or tried to harvest rolling swaths. When standing doesn't move in a 70Km wind that's a thick crop.

BOBOO is still on her kick to tax the shit out of Fertilizer and screw farmers in western Canada all in the name of some bullshit climate change agenda only the Liberals understand. She says it's not a 30% reduction was looking at other things. Yea it's a drive the ****ing cost through the roof putting on shit that makes the product ineffective all in the name of junk bullshit science.

Ok here is the crop report because I am still harvesting. Did I miss a meeting where you get a ****ing prize for finishing first? Why the rush when the weather is good and it's probably some of the largest crops guys in our area have ever harvested in their entire ****ing lives. Sometimes you are the Ball and Some times you are the Bat and then that one time you are both Ball and Bat and hit it out of the ****ing park. Enjoy.

Our area should hit 96% done today with only Flax and a few swaths of Canola or standing canola left to go plus a few oats.

Sask Ag gave up on our area a week ago and was bragging that the province was done. Funny for a lot of the areas being done early isn't positive as yields were poor in the real early finished fields.

Not many lights on all way home late last night but I did see the Regina group harvesting Canola so they are getting close also.

Drought is becoming an issue that is coming up over and over again. We are now in a two-month low for moisture and have joined the rest of you. A friend at Yorkton said he has quit deep banding because he cant get tillage in-ground and all it's bringing up is lumps.

Fertilizer is again Insane but it's just because those ****ers can do whatever they want and get away with it. Tax the shit out of all fertilizer leaving Canada.

I will have one more crop report next week and then we switch to winter mode.

Have a great day and relax life is over before you realize it.

Canadian Ag Minister: Ag emission goals ambitious but necessary. "We have decided to put in place a target to reduce emissions caused by fertilizers -- mainly nitrogen fertilizers," Bibeau told DTN in a phone interview Tuesday. "So the target is to reduce the emissions by 30%, not the fertilizer itself. Because we know we can do a better job of management of the fertilizers. We can also find alternatives, and we can have better management in areas like cover cropping."

SKF she said we can fertilize to the max, just do a better job applying it. LMAO
      WTF??
This is only a start of the regulations we are going to be faced with. Have fun now things are going to get ugly!!

Fck is she stupid. Cover crop would mean taking 1/3 of your land out of production to grow what alfalfa which will take more than a year to establish and the only crop that can get 100lbs N back into the soil. Then it has to sprayed out and disced down. Like 10,000 acre farms are going to do this. Who is going to buy the hay.

the other thing that is BS is elevator prices they should be over 20 for canola and over 12 for wheat.

              it’s Bullshit 19.65 and 11.75.

harvest pressure is biggest joke in the entire world.

Fu k it take the mill cash advance and lock the bins tell them it’s now 15 for wheat and 25 for canola and go pound sand.

Down east cover crops are possible... we NEED about a 10C rise in global temperatures for western Canada to have a growing season and the heat units to allow 'cover crops' to work. They don't want livestock or meat production... I suppose corn for 100% cellulose ethanol production in some years ...

Wind Turbines and Solar panels... will be the answer... or else plant everything to trees and make wood pellets...

By 2050 2.2B more people on the planet... they are saying we need to grow 70% more food... needs to be free range chicken eggs and test tube meat... no pesticides or fertilizers...

Save our planet by destroying it...

This is exactly it. They don’t know how good they have it. We’re living in a prosperous period of time brought on by the process of pulling oil and gas from the ground and producing countless useful products. So called progressives are cheerleading to go back to a hand to mouth existence, they are all mentally challenged.

Outside of a couple parts of the world population is leveling off. Not many people have been having 3+ kids for a couple generations. I don’t buy the 11 billion population predictions. We’ll plateau at 9 to 9.5 and start to see a decline. The only growth any western nations will see is immigration from high growth countries like Nigeria, India. Even China we could foresee a decline in immigration from there.

Spoke to a friend that works in the head office for one of the larger grain companies.. fd barley and wht is still being sold/exported at these higher prices values. Cnl is not except for a few smaller sales. China was in buying boatloads a month or so ago and the grain company is hoping they’ll come in and buy again before their new year.

Doesn’t really make the selling process any easier, but it’s good to hear that the physical commodity is being traded and not just the paper.

We'll be legislated to use a lot of high margin ESN.

                            Higher margin once mandated.
Imported product won't meet spec for Canadian markets.
