Better than letting fear and ignorance control it like you do.

I appreciate Peckfords resilience and optimism, but we know the charter and the constitution are deeply flawed documents. Thats bad enough, but we have a PM that has now either violated those documents and got away with it. Thats even worse.

Trudeau scrapped all the mandates 1 month before this goes to SCC hoping it gets tossed now. Our SCC cant even hear the most important legal case in recent history within a couple months. 6 months they have sat on this

"The welfare of the people," Albert Camus succinctly noted, "...has always been the alibi of tyrants."

The great mass murderers of the twentieth century attest to this truth. Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot and Mao killed tens of millions, but they did so, they assured the world, not for their own glory but for the benefit of "the people." Castro and Guevara executed tens of thousands of political prisoners while absurdly claiming they did so in the name of "freedom."

"Most of the evil in this world," T.S. Eliot is said to have coldly warned, "is done by people with good intentions." So when people or institutions wrap themselves in the garments of "good intentions" and proclaim loudly to be working for "the people's best interests," that is precisely the time when individual liberty is most at risk.

You keep posting this cartoon, I'm not sure it means what you think it means.
I can't help but notice that 5 out of 8 of the caricatures in your cartoon are Socialists/communists, one former communist, one democrat turned populist who ran as a republican, and one republican. Do you see any common theme in there?
