That might make sense of the Turd, flying back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth, across Canada this summer. Might just explain it all.
But to what end, essentially he has his majority now, with his lapdog Jag, seems like there might be alot at risk for the LPC. Unless the Turd is trying to out do PET!???

He is stealth campaigning on our dime. CPC had too long of a leadership race. Trudeau and his media lapdogs dont want PP to show up as leader in the HoC this fall and start grilling him. Plus the NDP thing looks shaky anyway and Trudeau is knee deep in scandals which will be questioned.
I say bring on the election.

There's are at least a minimum of 8 liberals and 1 ndp that need to lose their seats for the safety of Canada but I'd settle for 70.

There were 25 seats lost due to vote splitting CPC-PP last election. Hopefully that can be rectified or we r fcked.

Let’s hope. Think Polivierre has the ability to bring these voters to the cpc. Had two limp ***** before couching the centre left and turned off a lot of right wingers but also left of centre voters as well. Sometimes being genuine and a bastard wins votes.

PP in Grande Prairie yesterday afternoon. 1200 - 1400 people showed up. Standing room only. Trudeau should be afraid - vewy vewy afwaid.

Bet the bugger calls an election while opposition parties are on their back foot. Trudeau has thrived on creating division while people are craving unity. Polivierre I think has the ability to create that. Detractors will put up nasty cartoons about him and get stuck up on his weak points but it’s the same element who fought against the dissolution of the cwb.

Given that the Bank of Canada just raised interest rates by a full percent this morning, Trudeau might be thinking about calling an election now as opposed to one in the midst of a severe recession and/or housing crash.

Think it’s a bit late for Trudeau to avoid the fallout soon enough. People are fickle though. Certain circumstances he could win by a landslide cause they hate the minority and love in with Jag but if things fall in place and Polivierre looks like he’s worthy, Trudeau is gone and god forbid his children have no intentions to be in politics ever!!!

Yeah I think its too late. A move like that will be felt right away. Mortgage rates are near 5% double what they were a yr ago.
Earliest he can get an election in is probably October.
Must be some other machinations behind the scenes.
- All 10 provinces have challenged Bill C69
- 1m people have to repay cerb
- 6M people under the no fly up until June 30 - they wont forget that one
- airports, passports, etc
- Peckford lawsuit for Sept 23
- RCMP corruption
- Singh aligning himself with a criminal is a much different calculation for the NDP
- Bill C11 probably getting rejected by the Senate
- Plus the economy
Shine is coming off real fast. People going to be mad come this fall.

If he does, what will he base it on? What will he claim the reason is? Without that, he’s toast.

Isn't any one else sick of a system that even allows him to call one on a whim or even allows him to run again?
Or for that matter a coalition just to win one?
US system bashers feel free to chime in.

Also very sick of a system whereby the election is naturally gerrymandered so that votes in some parts of the country are worth more than those in other area. This also help keep corrupt lieberal governments in place.

When a politician pays off the press, isn’t that influence peddling? Many influence paddlers have been tried within the criminal code. It is illegal to gain favour using taxpayer dollars, IMHO.

Here are some more Populist Polly cartoons to make your day. Enjoy.
As bad as Trudeau is, replacing one lightweight drama queen with another lightweight career politician who is prone to sticking his foot in his mouth and polarizing the electorate, doesn't seem like a winning electoral strategy.

He appears to be on a 3+ stops a day campaign tour.
Getting hard for him as protesters and hecklers pop up everywhere. Don't need to be organized or pre-planned.
Can't remember a PM that had so much hate directed at them.
Even Pierre only had a few notable confrontations.
Can't see the LPC letting him go into the next election as leader.
To much baggage and bad karma.

You have a reputation to uphold Chuck. Thanks for not letting us down. Still putting the silly in agrisilly, with the same cartoons over and over, the men in speedos, and expounding on your crackpot flat earth theory. Ending every statement with LOL, etc.
Have you checked out the mature level of discussion over in Commodity Marketing in your absence? I think we can confidently conclude that your contributions had been the sole source of the silliness that led to the nickname you ascribe to this website. How ironic.

So I count $4B given away this week alone. All vote buying in areas where NDP was competitive last election.
Singh is going to go down as the biggest lackey in Canadian history.
But I have to hand this to him as a strategy. CPC should have had the leadership done in June. Now Trudeau runs around tossing cash around and campaigning on our dime.
Parliament will be prorogued and we are looking at a late sept election imo.
