Riverhurst Ferry not opening until lake levels rise.

And they blame it on climate change.

Its a god damn lake with two dams. The water didn't evaporate it was released and someone wasn't paying attention.

It seems every time someone phucks up the cause is climate change.

And in the CBC article they admit the level has been this low before, was it climate change then as well.

The shoreline has sluffed in as expected , it show you that at the interpretative centre at gardiner dam.

Maybe the engineers should have planned to do some digging.

Story goes guys were in their ice shacks when the ice dropped a bit in the winter.

Just for perspective....they dug a much larger boat out of the SUEZ canal.

Not much action on the water around Hitchcock. No boat trailers at the boat launch. The old lady said she has never seen that empty for May long. 2 years ago there was no beach because the water was so high. Guys sitting on the edge of the beach in the water on their lawn chairs.
