    Hats off to Saskpower workers !

    Power off last night in that storm about 5 hours.
    about 70 km/hr winds at the peak , snowing like a bastard
    out here on the fringe , power goes out lots . poles are all leaning to the east, lots ready to tip over . very little being updated
    can you imagine hanging from a pole in that shit .
    anyways whatever they pay these guys/gals is not enough!

    I'm with you on that one.
    Anybody that ******* about linemen should go out with them splicing wires in storm hoping nobody starts up thier home rigged gen set and blows thier head off.

    Not a job I envy. Way to scary for me.

    After every non planed outage I always try to remember to tell them:

        You dam rights, hats off to them. I have seen them on hydro poles when its -20 with a 30-40 k wind. Thanks Boys!
