    Things changing again in T.O.

Daughters old boss who had to shut down retail 2 years ago when this deally started begged her to come back . Pay raise , health plan , extra perks, etc.etc. High end retail so dealing with money managers and such on daily basis. These managers have had enough of there employee's working from home and are calling them back to the office . Turns out people working from home end up being a bunch of slackers ( who would have guessed ) Sleeping in, watching tv , not returning emails and generally just taking the day off of work. Returning a email at 1am that was sent at 3pm is bad for business. So the orders are in show up downtown for work or kiss job goodbuy.

Trudeau just sent out another $7.5B in pandemic supports. Doubt people will be rushing back to work anytime soon.

The videos I see out of Toronto the vaxx pass isnt going over so well. Restaurants are dead. Same as here. Turns out people dont like getting carded just to get a burger even in lefty Toronto.

The restaurants are dead - really dead. These vaccine mandates have broken the camel’s back. Shahib gets on TV crying for us to stay home and not “mix” with people. What a piece of work. Instead of planning and preparing for a pandemic, they did sweet tweet and now stand in front of us crying. Soon the snowbirds will be gone, lucky ducks.

Walked into a restaurant two days ago, showed my card, ate (fast service because it was slow in there), paid and then left, don't feel violated at all. What is the big deal?

Well since it seems you didn't notice, surrendering your freedom to enter is kind of a big deal.

You show a callous disregard for 80% of the population including those most vulnerable, but you are just a all around caring individual.

U bring up the Most vulnerable..... What have our gov'ts done to protect those people? How many new hospital beds have been opened? How many new ICU units have been installed? Have any new positions been made at training facilities around the country to train Doctors/nurses/lab techs/ etc etc? How many new hospital beds have been opened?

What has the money been spent on? not an improved health system.. 18 months to 2 yrs after this pandemic started and not one positive step has been made to better Canadian's health care. How many new hospital beds have been opened?

The Govt's only answer seems to be experimental vaccines that seem to be failing in developed countries around the world.. what is happening in the poor countries?

No one should be pointing fingers at the un-vaxxed, But instead everyone should be asking hard questions of our Gov'ts and the health system, how can they justify any of their actions to date? How many new hospital beds have been opened?

Debt, death, fear, inflation, are leading to division of the population.

Excuse my language: Canada is ****ed, does no one in gov't care about the population? It seems it is all about their jobs and power. How many new hospital beds have been opened?

                    end of rant

Old arguement just as viable as before. Prevention is always better than treatment. Impractical to have enough healthcare workers for every stubborn person.

Your backwards logic is nearly as shaky as the vaccine.

Please specify the preventative measures for every non covid treatment being administered in the hospital right now? Covid the worst pandemic ever still hasnt overtaken cancer, heart disease and diabetes.

My local doc said he had 2 shots, will not be getting boosters and we all will catch the wu flu, matter of time. Spanish flu lasted 38 years.
