Has anyone received the 100 bucks a head for cattle?

Just wondering if those payments have been started to be sent out or was it just a feel good Public Service Announcement.

And then there is the second payment if you still have cows by December 31.

Did one average Canadian need to prove they needed the CERB????? With receipts???

Not sure what our farm groups negotiated but it sure seems like they were not paying attention to all the other handouts Canadians received.

We sent it in but haven’t heard or gotten anything yet. It must be a few weeks already since we did it.

I feel sorry for the ranchers they’ll be audited
And looked at cross eyed by our farmer loving
Sask party. Too stupid to realize this petty amount
Is mostly coming from the feds and doesn’t
Cost them next to nothing and after all it just
Comes off the agristability payments that no one
Is getting don’t qualify or not in the program
except grain farmers that had 5 bumper
        Crops and now a drought.

And I m hearing the money for water infrastructure
Is as much of a joke. You have to sign forms upon
Forms and no money until God knows when.
Most in the drought areas have no money to
Do these projects and get a rebate
If they wanted to help should have
Been direct billed to the gov. Do they not know
Farmers put their cash into buying feed etc?
Apes ass too busy worried about internet
Connections in rural which is a point but not
The main point at all in this kind of drought.
Most are going broke won’t be able to afford
        Internet and that’s a fact.

Mostly all cattle are gone in our area, 20 years ago almost every farm had cows. Unbelievably hard work, no time off and no income decimated the western Canadian livestock industry. Hog farms in manitoba met the same fate.

A good 1/2 the cows are already gone from the area. In Ontario, we will be able to claim the cows, breeding heifers, bulls and heifer calves for breeding in 2022, under AgriRecovery at $220 per head. It will cover 3/4 of my purchased feed bill, which stands right around $45k.

I am not banking on receiving it anytime soon though.

The guys in big trouble are the FCC-reliant producers who had pretty much tapped out their credit prior to this.

The big shock will come to the guys that dumped half the cows next year when the bills stay the same with 1/2 the income, a 500k FCC note and expensive replacement breds.

Well it is man you can use the 100 bucks
To buy ivermectin for the whole family.
                No worries.

It might take 100 trips to the mailbox before you see the 100 bucks. Think I can get 100 bucks for an old nag and a pony? 😂

The question remains ...did the average Canadian have to provide receipts for the 10s of thousands in CERB payments

And have us treated equally as the rest of the population?
Have you lost your mind? We re supposed to beg
And cry and then maybe then we get programs
That don’t pay anything and if they do it’s too
Little too late to do anything effective. But some
Sleeze ball friend connected to the government
Operating a big feedlot or some imaginary cows
On paper will get a big payout then the headlines will
Read look at all the money alll farmers are getting

We applied literally five minutes after the forms were put up on the scic site. No money yet.
