    Stormy Night June 10

That was a hum-dinger. At midnight to 2 A.M. it tried to blow the roof off the house. Only 7/10 rain in the gauge. I wonder if there are any piers and boats left at the lakes.

CJME said we dodged the bullet as the storm was primarily south of the border with winds gusting to 150 km in North Dakota and Montana.

Those cells were huge in North Dakota
            Was a vast complicated system.
Hopefully none here on the ville had too much damage .

Some wind early in evening. Otherwise nice slow 3/4 inch rain. Makes it about 2.5 inches this week. We really needed it.

Newagtalk saying not much rain out of the system.

For what sounded like rain only ended up at 2 tenths here.

You would think since climate change has been here causing underpasses in Regina to flood for 50 years they would improve the drainage.

Or do they continue to call it climate change instead of garbage engineering.?

Guess the Regina Block must have failed this once. 4.6 inches is a lot of rain, so much that a 9 inch across turtle was rescued by our son. It was travelling north west heading for White City.
