I started seeding wheat yesterday. Better conditions than we have had for years. Corner to corner, and decent moisture.

Discing land that was disturbed this winter for landscaping, and there was still frost and snow at discing depth, so not exactly ideal soil temperatures yet.

Out of town BTO neighbors seeded everything a few weeks ago already. Not sure what they seeded.

Getting enough weed growth to do an effective pre burn is my hold up. After a wet year last year, lots of grass that needs to be controlled.

After you couldn't give hay away all winter, now it is a hot commodity. Trucking all the way to Sask from west central AB must cost a fortune?

Getting close to selling some more grain. Still regreting my first load at $17.25, need to bring the average up.

Moisture is at 1 1/2 inches deep to seed canola into now (lentil stubble) 🙁

Most harrowing and putting down NH3 here.
        Not many drills out yet.
Soil temp was 13.4 yesterday afternoon.
We have the wht in, and some bly.
        At 30% done..
We are the odd ones here..moisture better than expected..but won't last long if Temps rise next week..

Sasky's rant about vaccines. LOL Yeah we are slower with our roll out, but Saskatchewan is doing relatively well.

Instead of free "socialized" vaccines for everyone we should have gone full Republican and let the private sector provide the service for a fee. That way SF could have gotten his shots quicker so he could be on his vacations as soon as possible.

If you can't see a benefit to a balanced mix of public and private you're the apparatchik we thought you were.
            How's your seeding going?
Here moisture is varied and canola will be going into dust for some and waiting for a soaker.
Seeding general with 10-20% ac in.

From the highway, Nipawin to Humboldt, very few drills. At freezing several nights yet. Highs of +8 on the 16th, but an inch of rain!

Applied Nh3 last weekend, (corner to corner) and it was a bit eerie as there were no other units anywhere on the horizon. Nh3 delivery guys were complaining like the Maytag repairman. Couple of neighbors harrowed fields weeks ago but not much moving here. Frost every night and cool days. Lots will start rolling in next few days

Nothing going on here since last Sundays rain. Fields are really wet and the weather isn't helping that situation. Sunny days but cold and no wind until today with strong north wind.

                        Is nothing sacred?
It used to be that a thread was safe from troll attacks if the title had something to do with Agriculture.
Now the troll in Chief has circumvented the system.

                        Might as well engage.
                        Still on rain delay Chuck?
How many consecutive days is that now?
Must be climate change in action.
                        Anything get seeded between rain?

Seeding varies here north of Regina. Some guys half done some just starting. No pre burn.Dry ,dry dry .Big fire in valley yesterday. Two fire dept ,several discs ,many shovels.lucky no wind or would have wiped out the regional park and several acreages.

Re reading his post shows how one sided to the point of dumb blind he can be.

I'm not spraying here yet either.
