I got my shot over a week ago and actually it makes me feel like the vaccinated people may be able to toss the masks. For the unvaccinated they will continue cowering in their basement with a mask on. Not for me.....come end of June and I have to wear a mask to protect the antivaxers, too ffffnnnn bad.

Ummm haven’t worn a mask through this whole thing unless asked by the business I go into to put one on, which is really only our local bumper to bumper. And they have quit policing mask wearing. Trudeaus jack boots tried to make bumper enforce the masks, but were told where to go. And guess what, our town has had a few cases, but according to you guys we should all be dead by now.
Probably have had covid for all I know. And boy let me tell you was it scary. I had to go about my days as if I didn’t feel sick at all, all the while wondering if I had it or not!
So please, don’t wear your mask for me.
As a side note, I thought fauci said you still had to wear your masks even though vaccinated. How dare you go against his word?! You are an anti-!*+#. And also selfish!*🤣

In university I schmoozed with a lot of flower people who enjoyed various drugs like LSD. I picked the other road, my friend gave up his life by going along with the crowd. To watch what it did to one that committed suicide at one that went from being a 90 student to living on the streets made me realize deductive reason worked better for me and that’s how I choose to live, This is a lesson I pass to my grandchildren every chance I get. When something in the back of your mind says “ be careful” exit stage left. Just sayin. Its not because I disrespect the immune compromised, its because I need to see that with all this immunization, the numbers are plummeting- and they aren’t so far. It may never be safe for the susceptible ones, who knows?

It’s easy to be hesitant about a vaccine that has been rushed to market. No one can deny it. The swine flu vaccine in the 70’s caused some issues. I get it. I also get that tech has come a long way as well. Take it fwiw but hospitalizations and serious covid cases amongst elderly has plummeted while younger people are increasingly the most infected demographic. What’s the common denominator?

I’m not saying I haven’t been anywhere. I bought a 4wd in beechy, Saskatchewan. Went to look at it and then made a separate trip to haul it home. Was pleasantly surprised that Saskatchewan was more relaxed than Alberta against the covid rules at the time. Could actually go into a restaurant and eat.
Bought a new track hoe out of edmonton. Went to pick it up.
Haul 10-12 b-train loads of grain a little south of red deer. I’m north of Edmonton. Along with about another 100 b trains to local elevators.
Haul thousands of bales all over Alberta.
All without a mask unless asked to put it on. Imagine that, I’m still alive! There goes your hide in the basement theory. One would argue that you are probably more of a basement dweller than I am. For sure in life you are!

You mean objective....but it would be ironic if the vax made the people pushing to get the vax sterile. Well I got my sticker today. I fathered enough children so I don’t give two shits if I’m sterile. I had a good run so send me to lakeside for baloney. We’ll see if this does come to fruition in the end. Fertility rates are dropping for all kinds of reasons already so maybe this’ll push it over the edge. Who knows maybe this is Bill Gates strategy. Aside from being flippant I do wonder myself about potential long term effects but what are long term effects of the virus? During the Spanish flu there were a generation of people born to mothers stricken with the flu while pregnant. Many of these children were mentally deficient and never amounted to f all. Incarcerations and institutionalizations of this group was high.

You do know it literally takes 30 minutes to get vaccinated? Nobody is cowering in their basement.
And I dont see any vaccinated people jumping on planes yet. They are still wandering around wearing masks and thinking about a second one and jumping into the bushes when you pass them on the sidewalk.
lets just see how many shots you are willing to take just to travel again. My bet come fall, there will be a scary new variant and you wont be going anywhere.

And I guarantee that malaria is way more dangerous than covid. It is all relative. Risk/reward as some people on here are saying. If there wasn’t around a 99% survival rate, maybe the reward would fall more towards taking the untested vax. But alas, that isn’t the case.
