    Are we finally seeing a battle for acres this morning?

    or is it just a battle for old crop?

    Nearby corn up 12 cents
    but New crop up 4 cents
    Nearby soybeans up over 18 cents
    New crop beans up over 12 cents
    Wheats up 13-18 cents nearby
    Wheats new crop up 11-15 cents

    And doesn't look like snow event covered many wheat acres.

      If you look at how dry and out of subsoil moisture western Canada really is Canola needs to wake up and get in the game. This Bs with 21 mill acres is just that who will seed canola to dust. Unless it establishes all you get is a reseeding benefit. 1/2 an inch isn't a lot of moisture if the tank is empty.

          In our area, the snow will only delay our planting, not help much with moisture!

          Delaying planting 2-3 weeks isn't a good thing.

              Ok, it's reminder time. Winter wheat is now filling really well in Texas and Oklahoma. SD is greening up and the odd head is poking out. ND is under snow today. So the next two weeks for cold all way to texas will see wheat taking off. Plus Spring wheat will be replaced with either corn or soy if prices keep going up.

              France froze the other night.
