    Wildfires in Alberta

Sounds like we are to await hurricane force winds tomorrow. Maybe some moisture, hopefully. Farmers need a good spring storm to fill dugouts.

I have a friend that lives down south, fires missed him by 3 miles. He said there were over 40 tillage units out trying to slow it down. Havent heard the extent of the damage but hoping for the best for everyone.

Wind was unreal, still is pretty nasty out there. We had some wet snow early last night and wind blew from multiple directions, no snow on the ground other than drifts but multiple sides of every building, tree and cow is white with crusty
snow. Really quite amazing we havent lost power. Only -11C but boy is there a wind chill, winds down a but but still gusting 70km/h plus.
