Or could be fake news Reply With Quote

Apr 26, 2021 | 10:18 14 On the march upward again, this morning. Seeing just pennies under $9.00/bus #1 13.5(not bad for a high freight area)

Seems to have surpassed durum wheat price now.

May 1, 2021 | 22:07 20 Not that it changes the outcome but we've done the following to help assess the degree of damage.
Cut off some plants just above the last node and stick those stems with head intact into a glass of water with food colouring, usually red works well. After 24 hours you can see where the solution has or hasn't been drawn up into the living or dead/frozen parts of the head

May 2, 2021 | 11:04 23 Does Kansas grow as much wheat as all of Canukistan? Most of us have experienced frost at a later stage than these pictures. Experience tells us that the damage doesn’t look too bad until a week or two of heat, and even more telling in the grain tank. Reply With Quote
May 2, 2021 | 11:45 24 When the Midge left the heads empty here you didn't have to get out of the truck as the heads stood straight up, never necked over.
