See the message that if we totaly removed cattle it would solve 60% of the climate change problems.
Seems to be the new popular "If you say it loud enough and long enough it has to be true".
The beef market is in enough trouble with packer concetration without any other bad news BS chipping away at it.

Under the mistaken assumption that social license actually exists. Or that eco terrorists can be negotiated with or placated.

Y’all should watch a show on Amazon prime. It’s called “kill it cut it use it”.

Urban types, some that are over the top kind of freaky urban types, are taken to slaughter houses etc. To watch animals get killed. Then they see what items the animals are made into. Leather, soaps, hairbrushes, tennis rackets and so on. It’s very interesting to me, an animal farmer.

Nearly everyone really struggles with the killing, (who relishes in watching anything die?), but the show is well done and they almost all end up appreciating animal agriculture in the end, when they see the products that are created using animals.

If those types on there can get through it, for sure the average consumer can be reached.

The killing isn’t fun to watch. They actually show the killing and the bleeding and the thrashing and twitching, amazingly.

Anyhow. I thought over all it was a good show. And importantly proof that education is not pointless.

Sheep, imo there is no educating that group. That lady from BC will be on the opposite side soon. if she was waivering now, she will eventually fall fully in line with the woke left. Not sure you have a long term customer there.

In any case, every farmer should be reviewing their business plans because woke ag is the next challenge for us. We better start learning how to survive on a lot less inputs and a whole lot more regulation.

It is not about whether she’s a customer or not. I could care less. (Though we did get an order from BC). All I want is to share the truth about farming with her. All of us in ag should, no, we MUST, be willing to educate the long removed from ag types. So long as they aren’t militant, they are willing to listen, if we aren’t screwing up by being condescending. We need to first understand they have no farm connection. None. We need to know where they’re coming from.

They just created a generation of useless eaters that are ready to sit in their apartments and wait for UBI. Will be easy now to remove their entire bloodlines from the planet.

But why? what is the real agenda behind population reduction. The elite dont care, they dont live where the rest of us do. Unless there is something coming down the line that will be a radical change for us and not everyone will get to participate like life extension tech.
World population growth is a slowly sinking ship, exasperated in western nations by a generation afraid to plant their seed for fear of a host of issues like climate change etc. Personally it’s great they don’t reproduce. The expectation the covid would spur a baby boom has been wrong. If the talking headless know it all’s want to tackle population go to India or Africa. Those are the only places where population is still growing.

I read an article once that postulated that conservatives, real conservatives, the ones that have several kids and raise their kids to have common sense, will continue to outbreed, and therefore outnumber the leftists who are worried having more than one little Johnny is going to kill the planet.

It kind of makes sense. Right wingers generally have more kids. Could happen sometime I guess?

All well and good until these offspring dive into today's Marxist cesspools (colleges and universities), which - according to Dr. Jordan B. Peterson - should all be torn down.

They would do the world less harm that way.

Actually, the whole present-day education system is designed to subvert a healthy, normal child into a useful idiot zombie from the day they step onto a school bus.

What do we do with the hundreds and hundreds of tonnes of food byproducts we produce everyday at food processing plants every day ? Canola meal, potato slurry,DDS GRAINS oat hulls and all the screenings from grain cos and seed plants. Even the new pea plant in Portage will have product not fit for human consumption. Grain guys will take the biggest hit from all of this I fear. Landfills could fill up pretty fast at who's cost ?

Just blend it in to those tasty beyond beef burgurs that seem to have fallen off the map and add lots of mustard and ketchup.
You can sell shi t in a can with lots of spin.
                          Edit
Beyond Beef shares are now rated as Beyond Risky after missing all thier financials by wide margins.

Good discussion regarding the importance of livestock production in Western Canada, then you posts this. I personally feel the beef industry and supply management producers have nothing to fear. Way to much economical importance generated and meat lovers within Canada from the livestock industry to ever go away.

So how does this post of yours have anything to do with livestock production in Western Canada? You read some B.S. article from some extreme right wing propaganda group that you subscribe to and suddenly it's the truth in your mind and should be posted out of the blue.

It's hard to believe you come on Agriville yapping such nonsense on a forum which anybody can read, while selling your mutton to the general public. You have basically come and put enough posts on Agriville to identify who your are.

I'd bet you have no issue taking the hard earned cash from left or extreme left leaning customers when selling your mutton, or do you have a screening process before selling?

Sheep a post like yours doesn't do any favours for the meat industry by the way!

Tear down schools and universities? That's a great idea.
And while were at it, let's burn all the books that don't conform to our worldview as well.
That worked really well in Nazi Germany.
