    Jan 13 grainsales

There is a electronic platform for sell8ng grain in australia.

    Buyers and sellers both anonymous.

On the day, 26 different buyers purchased grain and 32 buyers purchased grain through the week, plus there were many more buyers searching for grain on offer.

Guess you guys would love that many buyers.

Again a saturday quick look about a dozen operating today.

With a simple cell phone call... many competitive bids are easy to get... if we want to sell our grain in central Alberta! Many eager buyers! Plenty of texted prices twice a day from numerous buyers.

E-mailed/texted prices after close of markets 1:05pm each day. Phone call then buyer e-mails contract with electronic signature on accounts with payment by Electronic Funds Transfer most buyers some snail mail with picture deposit by text... now seldom deposited in banks directly as Covid-19 pushed most transactions paperless... appointments needed for renewing vehicle registrations... all 'virtual meetings and votes' in place of in person meetings... vehicle milage down 90% with lockdowns...

big big changes... document deliveries 'paperless' with e-mails on accounts and contract signatures PDF scanned back in/emailed back in in odd cases... Court cases all virtual now on zoom with electronic zoom court reporters of proceedings...witnessing of documents by zoom as well... lawyers offices/court chambers closed to public now.... all virtual instead.

everything accepted virtual including swearing of court documents and service of them...

computer/internet at home office does everything...

Slower process than in person hearings but just as thorough when verified virtually; carefully, by legal council and judges.
