Rather than gazing south and telling us how much better off we are than the Americans we should be bombarded with Liberal failures - its not like they're even a little hard to find.
When the final numbers are in they're going to go deeper in the hole in one year than the entire accumulated debt prior to them taking office. They're admitting to $400 billion - that means there isn't a chance in hell its that low. I originally thought we were looking at half a trillion but now I think its even worse than that. Our grandchildrens' grandchildren will be paying off this credit card. When interest rates go up - and they will - we'll be Venezuela north.

Partisan sniping won’t get vaccines into Canadians’ arms. Only planning will
Andre Picard Globe and Mail
"Some political rhetoricians have claimed that Canada will be last in line. That’s nonsense. No one knows for sure where we are in the international queue, but it’s probably somewhere in the middle of the pack.
But the fact is that not everyone can be above average, except in a fictional world.
Much is made of the fact that Canada does not have a lot of capacity to produce coronavirus vaccines domestically. That’s a long-standing issue with a lot of history behind it, but among other things, it boils down to manufacturers’ instincts for centralizing production, which has led pharma companies to eschew the minuscule market of Canada.
You can’t snap your fingers and start producing vaccines overnight. Small-scale production is not efficient."
"Realistically, during a pandemic, when vaccines were being developed at a breakneck speed, getting our supply elsewhere was the safest and smartest option. That’s what the Canadian government has done, signing contracts with seven manufacturers for a total of 358 million doses – the most per capita of any country in the world. (The excess will go to developing countries, one hopes.) That includes 56 million doses from Pfizer, 20 million from Moderna and 20 million from AstraZeneca – the three companies whose products are closest to coming to market."

When the liberals are using this virus to forward their agenda. Have the vaccine come later than sooner fits their plans.

The head of Moderna already said Canada would be getting some of the first vaccine orders.
Facts and reality seem hard for some of you to grasp!
Instead you resort to hyper partisan BS.

For what it is worth, Noubar Afeyan, Moderna organization co-head, multiple other bio-tech organizations, educated in Montreal, Canada, refugee status, after fleeing civil war in Lebanon, likely an American now, did say through the CBC that timely supplies of Moderna-tx-vaccine on a prorated for all countries ordered basis on first batch release would be provided to Canada. We will get our share of each subsequence release. It won't be enough for any country on the first batch to meet their needs, but that was the gist of his interview.
Justin Trudeau is still Just in Trouble, and cc. will never negotiate with you, but he never mislead you on this. Noubar Afeyan, well, a short time will tell if his interview was the truth.

SF glad to see you are back to your normal abrasive self. Your full recovery must be near. Thanks to taxpayers who paid for your treatment. To complete your treatment, you may want to consider a good laxative because you still seem to be full of you know what.

Its ironic that several posters who have tried hard to downplay the severity of covid pandemic in the face of overwhelming evidence, are now some of the ones complaining loudly about a potential delay in access to vaccines.

I for one am happy to take the brand new first of its kind, developed in only 6 months, DNA based vaccine, last.
Let the sheep rush in.
I am sure the narrative will change when there are still cases that not enough people are taking the vaccine and another group to shame, and then there will be a 2nd booster shot and then an annual program, forced of course, or you cant get on a plane or go to a restaurant.

In the mean time they are dieing at the rate of a 911 per day now! 3000 plus! Quite the success story so far. Especially those freedom loving red states that don’t want to wear masks because it might take away their freedom. “Freedom or death by covid. We won’t wear masks for a fake disease. We would rather die. “

should have been described to public as a wee bit of help only , a tool in the toolbox , not the be all, end all

It can't even be made in Quebec, because the people running aren't connected Liberals.
Liberals have a proven strategy where by they funnel as much government money, and government contracts, through Liberal hands at inflated values, so a slice of that government money from the contracts, goes back into the hands of the Liberal Party of Canada through donations.
