Nov 26, 2020 | 11:14 1 Restaurant owner has been open in Toronto despite shutdown order. This morning the city changed the locks on him and blocked the door with police presence. Those property rights that don't exist are getting exercised.

Nov 26, 2020 | 11:24 2 Gotta admire the kid's pluck. He keeps coming back. I suppose from his standpoint if he stays closed he loses everything and if he stays open they take everything so what does he really have to lose? Reply With Quote

  • Nov 26, 2020 | 11:52 3 That very interesting what’s going on there. There was huge lines for people wanting in to eat. They chased CBC reporters out from in front of the building. The owner said he doesn’t like their one sided reporting. Then the next day the police show up. Reply With Quote

    What are you talking about?
Many options to do things safely for all demographics.
But why not drag everything down and let it burn. Reply With Quote

Cops are turning into brown shirts in canuckistan. I spent some money in a Rebel news sponsored effort to give an appreciation gift to the guys who took down the rail blockade west of Edmonton last winter. That is how real policing will get done in the future apparently. Reply With Quote

Totally wrong. Deficits everywhere are soaring so these stupid lockdowns have to go. It is morally reprehensible to saddle future generations with the costs of CERB, CEBA, CEWS, and rental subsidies. Business have to open and make it in the free market now. If government healthcare can't respond to needs then it will have to go as well. There is millions of dollars for AIDS, abortion, Maid that could be put to better use. Individual covid precautions are warranted like sanitizers and minimizing contact both of which I use but people have to have the freedom now to make it on there own without pogey. Reply With Quote

  • Nov 26, 2020 | 13:29 13 What stands out as significant to me is this: a) What chance do any charges have of standing up since the by-laws have no basis in law or science, and are a Charter violation

    and

    b) if the cops can show up and shut you down this easily for no lawful reason, Who. Is. Safe. when you find yourself on the wrong side of a what has clearly become a populist movement?

This should terrify everyone who values their human value.

It cost my Anabaptist ancestors their lives as they were burned at the stake or drowned in the Litmat River for their religious convictions - by government order.

How far are we from sliding back into that dark age?

Are they getting ready to restrict patron numbers in the store? When we were there the other day they had tents set up outside the store where people had to line up to get in before rules were relaxed.

Personally....I dont understand the attraction. I would never line up in the heat of the sun or a cold winter day to shop there. Shopping at Costco doesn't make me better than anyone else..... And despise the membership fee. Reply With Quote

  • Nov 26, 2020 | 14:23 17 Just looking at news while eating lunch. Unfortunately I see still almost 400 new covid cases in Manitoba today. From what I have read masks have been mandatory since September 25. New more strict restrictions imposed on November 12. Alberta is continually singled out for lack of a mask mandate and for not closing down more business. It appears to me we need to learn to live with covid 19, not sure we can isolate our way out of this in the winter time. Reply With Quote

Nov 26, 2020 | 14:27 18 To disagree with the rules is perfectly fine, everyone has that right. To break the rules even if you disagree is wrong. Otherwise where do you draw the line between right and wrong. Generally recognizing the rule of law is a right wing philosophy, left leaning thinkers are more likely to bend the rules. It is interesting to me that the different characters on agriville are generally opposite of that thinking when it comes to covid rules.

If the Bbq guy dont smarten up he deserves what he gets. Reply With Quote

There are no right wing premiers anymore. Or parties for that matter. They’re all a bunch of leftists. Of varying degrees. Reply With Quote

  • Nov 26, 2020 | 16:19 26 Nothing but a publicity stunt by the owner, just thought of a way to get some free advertising. More people should learn how to cook for themselves and find out what good food really taste like. Food consumption will not go down.

Fine him or throw him in jail with the Christian Minister from the Church of God from Steinbach. Neither of them could give a rats ass about anybody else. The Minister just wants his Sunday collection is all. I'm sure God is asking for his cut!

Base on the posts on here there must be a full moon, as all the Social Conservative Righties heads are exploding. Posting about Aides, Abortion, Rebel News, being rebellious, etc etc.

Mean while the hospitals are almost at capacity, doctors and nurses are working their asses off while so many elderly people are dying.

Such a compassionate bunch. Reply With Quote

There I go quoting myself again but some stuff is just too good to ignore! That's yours bobofthenorth.

Some days I feel like a pendulum.

I might have to change my moniker to "pendulumaholic". Somewhat proud that I'm open minded enough to see both the pros and cons of an argument.

Lol... keep an open mind. Reply With Quote
