Oct 26, 2020 | 11:51 1 Trump's mishandling of the corona virus pandemic is showing up in the stock market today. Rising cases and deaths along with a lack of a relief package is tanking the market. The bad news is even if Bunker Boy is tossed , he will have two months to screw things up even worse. I am still in half cash until after the election on the 3rd.

Drumpf's horrid response is also responsible for spiking numbers worldwide!

Dont worry, stocks will surge bigly tomorrow on new stimulus hopes as everyone lines up to BTFD!

Honestly, it's best not to interpret stock market performances with any sort of rational approach. It left rationality behind a decade ago or more. Reply With Quote

The covid economy has all kinds of opinions on it I don’t think it will sway enough people either way. But the idea of a loaded up right wing judicial system does seem to be hitting home. Reply With Quote

Yeah cause black voters are totally turned off by someone of faith who adopted 2 black kids.

They are turning out for Trump. He is going to get double digit support in the black community. He got 8% last time. Will get 15% this time.

The S&P most profitable companies are Amazon, Netflix, Twitter, facebook and Google and a few other tech stocks. Its falling because Trump is going to totally smash that cartel after the election.

He was talking about Amy Coney Barrett. She has 7 children, 2 of which are adopted from Haiti and are black.

But according to the left side of the political spectrum she only adopted them to prove she is not a racist and advance her career and was wrong to take them away from their families. Thats how screwed up these people are. Try and twist anything they can to be white or right person bad. Reply With Quote

Thats easy case, Trump put actual money back into the real economy and brought a V shaped recovery to reality.

Trudeau wasted it all on stupid virtue signaling and vote buying and ignored our main industries. Reply With Quote

  • Oct 26, 2020 | 13:57 11 Two points I want to make about the Covid curve:

First off, trying to micromanage human affairs the way nearly every government on earth is trying to do has about the same chance of success as herding cats. If anyone can come up with a way to do that efficiently, let me know.

Secondly, flattening the curve and eliminating the virus are two completely different things. The former does not necessarily result in the latter as we are clearly seeing, even though most people believe it does. Or at least they want to believe it. They are going to be disappointed, over and over and over again. Reply With Quote

Oct 26, 2020 | 14:22 14 The US does not need any more stimulus packages. They just need to reduce regulations and let the free market do what it needs to do. Focus needs to be on servicing debt in the future and managing it properly. The spike in virus cases goes down next Wednesday so that will take care of itself. There still is hope that the US will survive. Don't screw up next Tuesday America. That drops to zero for every other nation on the planet. Reply With Quote

I know who was referred to that has no relevance in how she’s going to vote on the black issue it’s become political not a human issue right extreme vs left extreme. That’s why it won’t be easily to be solved. That’s how everyone will take it. Reply With Quote

Republican presidents have appointed 12 (i think) of the last 15 supreme court justices... And yet, blacks aren't in chains, and women can still have abortions. Even the latest two justices didn't side with "the right" in a multitude of recent decisions. Reply With Quote

A juistification for stock market moves is always assigned in hindsight, and often contradictory.
But in this case, could this be the market selling off on the realization that there could be a Biden victory, and that they may actually intend to keep their promises?
And if so, the question is where would investors take their money if the US is no longer open for business, I'm drawing a blank on this question. Reply With Quote

Oct 28, 2020 | 09:17 21 The stock market is just playing the likely hood of no new stimulus deal which IMO would be a good thing in the long run. Weak longs are being flushed out which will create new buying opportunities. Real US economic data such as September factory orders were surprisingly strong. Support for the president is coming out of the woodwork so there will be no change next week on that front which will also be a good thing. A prominent black activist recently said in despair that unprecedented numbers of young black men are supporting Trump. Those would be the ones with jobs of course. Polling firms don't want to look stupid so they are decreasing the push polls as well. Then there is fact that justices now outnumber injustices on the SCOTUS for the first time in a while. There is much to be optimistic about unless you are one of those who wish for others to live under communist dictatorship. Reply With Quote
