Trumpet and the republicans are running such a smart campaign! With the just a few weeks from the vote in the middle of the most important part of the campaign Trumpet and his strategists managed to infect many high level staff and fellow republicans so that they could spend several days out of commission and unable to get much done except look like a bunch of fools for not wearing masks and social distancing!

With Biden’s lead in the poles widening many Republicans are starting to worry that the election is going to be a rout and they will lose in the senate as well!

Maybe Jass will tell us it was Trumpet's Brilliant plan to get infected with Covid and prove it was nothing to worry about! Maybe all those voters that died weren’t going to vote for trump anyway. Haha

Maybe Trump will just call the Covid victims losers, cause that is what he said about the American soldiers who died or were captured!

Oh ya I forgot about the Agrisilly rule, no negative political commentary on the commodity forum unless it's about Trudeau and the liberals or NDP. LOL

Why are you talking positives when the number I gave were actual CONFIRMED CASES? So I ask again, how come there were 742 CASES on Thursday in Sweden if there is herd immunity as you claim.

Second, if there is herd immunity, why have there been an increasing number of CASES since mid summer?

Third, is the fewer deaths in Sweden truly reflective of Covid not being as deadly as claimed, or is it a function of a much healthier population (lower obesity for instance) and a better socialized medical system than the private system in the US.

So the best you can come up with in response is a stupid propaganda meme? And I mean stupid! Do you question anything you post, or as long as it fits with you views it must be true. For example, consider these FACTS with respect to your meme stating: "Americans in 1944 facing almost certain death"

You do realize that 16 million Americans served in active duty in WW2
In the 4 years the Americans fought in WW2 the highest estimate of US soldiers killed in WW2 was 406,000.

On the other hand in less than one year of Covid in the US there has been 7 million confirmed cases with 214,000 deaths.

Less than half the people who served in 4 years of a world war, yet double the number of deaths in half a year of a pandemic.

              Your meme is Stupid!

Isn't it ironic that an Australian is telling us Canadians to be more polite! hahaha

But Australians are noted for their calm demeanor and sensitivity. LOL

It so amazing that our country and the rest of the world is on the same computer system data that is up to the second accurate.
It took how long for the U.S.A. to count their election ballets?
Plus believe the results from all countries in the world.
What a stupid joke on humanity.

And Canada has much better systems for registering voters, unlike the system in many states where they actively make it difficult to register. Especially for some groups of voters.

Your idiotic spin on the death rate was responded to in kind. Sorry it triggered you.

Now answer the question, are the 10,000 deaths in canada Trudeaus fault like the 200,000 in the US are trumps fault?

We have friends or relatives in every province in Canada.
Even in the hot bed of Quebec.
Not 1 of them know anyone who has had the Korn hole virus?

That sums up how some Conservatives view issues. If it hasn't directly affected me then its not a problem and no need to worry!

I don’t know why the risk factor of Covid is so tough to grasp. People have become slaves to anecdotes on Facebook with no understanding of acceptable risk.

Under 40 you have nothing to worry about. Even in poor health you have nothing to worry about. 27 people under 40 have died in Canada so far.

Under 50, or even under 60, and you are healthy with no preexisting conditions and you are not overweight, you have nothing to worry about.

Under 70 depending on health you should be concerned.

Over 70 and especially over 80 you should be very concerned

Over 70 with preexisting conditions or overweight, you should probably still be staying at home and having family drop groceries off, or only shopping at stores that have mandatory masks if you don’t have family who can drop things off for you.

Under 50 should be playing hockey, going to church, going to events, going to school, without worry and helping someone over 70-75+stay home by shopping for them and maybe FaceTiming every day so they don’t get lonely. This is solvable problem without a widespread lockdown.

So who is staffing all the healthcare facilities? If you want to protect seniors and vulnerable people you need to avoid an uncontrolled pandemic that will put many seniors at risk of death.

The other reason to slow the spread is to not overwhelm the healthcare system and put all kinds of people who require treatment from many different health care issues. If all the ICU beds are full where do the accident victims, heart attacks, strokes and cancer patients expected to go?

Thirdly, if many people are sick all at once and want to avoid infecting others guess what, many businesses and industries will shut down anyway.

Do you think Doug Ford a notable Conservative wanted to put tougher restrictions back in place in Ontario if they weren't needed?

The bloody WHO, that bedrock of scientific thought, just came out and said that lockdowns will not stop the virus, but they have done a bang up job of doubling the poverty rate.

Man people are just so dumb. Now we have an irreversible economic fiasco on our hands and 25% of the population will be carrying the other 75% forever.

The World Health Organisation has backflipped on its original COVID-19 stance after calling for world leaders to stop locking down their countries and economies.

Dr. David Nabarro from the WHO appealed to world leaders yesterday, telling them to stop “using lockdowns as your primary control method” of the coronavirus.

He also claimed that the only thing lockdowns achieved was poverty – with no mention of the potential lives saved.

“Lockdowns just have one consequence that you must never ever belittle, and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer,” he said.
