    honeybee header 4000 series

wrapping right hand side of auger on a case combine
can't see any difference from left side
older SP honeybee on other combine no problems , anyone have any ideas?
took far right finger out , seemed a little better
seems to jam straw in between flighting and right side of throat and stop auger
straw isn't real great , heavy crop

You probably already checked this but its the only thing off the top of my head is make sure feeder house speed is maxed out. Little switch on the console. Sometimes its inadvertently slowed down.

Are the strippers behind the auger worn possibly? Not that kind of “stripper”😉. Everyone was thinking it anyway..............

What could be worse than wore out strippers?
        Angry wives?
        If she's operating the combine....

This 4000 series doesnt let you adjust it
          Button doesnt do anything
Somehow the chip in that header bypasses it
But when we have the SP honeybee on it works or the 3020 flex also or pickup as well

              Get a load of this
Bearing on right side of drum was right gone and cut the shaft off
Guess it pays to clean ALL the straw out
Lucky we kept the old auger header

Sounds like one of the wives wasn't doing her pre-op checks properly.

Lift the reel higher and move it ahead, and slow it down, set tine angle so it isn’t so aggressive lifting the crop
