    737 Max

Report just out on 737 Max debacle. Boeing deliberately withheld info on the MCAS system which led to lack of simulator training for pilots. Thus those pilots never new what hit them. I bring this up because we flew the max twice. It could have been us. An example of corporate greed and a lack of government oversight. Sometimes government regulation is a necessary evil. Some of those executives in Boeing should stand trial for manslaughter and made an example of. There will be no confidence in air travel till they are held accountable.

We have had a viable design for commercial aircraft for 50 yrs. The only reason to remake it was to stuff more people into cattle car class.

Hopefully that business model gets a rethink after covid.

Wonder how quickly they are adapting from passenger to freight ? That’s why they used to boot people off of flights when the air travelers really needed to get some where.

Boeing doesn't like red tape apparently. But now that their reputation is in the toilet they just gave Airbus the biggest marketing boost possible. Will Boeing survive the double whammy of bad decisions and a likely many year decline in sales and less air travel? They might need top be bailed about for many years.

Letting Boeing self regulate is a glaring example of why industries need government enforced regulations. Because given corporate culture, many corporations will put the bottom line ahead of public safety every time.

Apparently the CDC is a Corporation, with drug patents, kind of NOT impartial, unbiased?

Right and you are an expert in assessing the performance of health canada and the WHO! LOL

And your buddy in the White house has had one of the worst records in the world on how to mishandle the virus and ignore his own scientific experts and downplay the severity of the pandemic while behind the scenes admitting it is a very serious risk.

Did you try his "miracle" cure of injecting some bleach yet? Its certainly "worth a look"! LMAO

                    NASA is govt ran.
It blew two shuttles using the same decision making processes each time.
This is not proof we need more govt and they are the saviour you idiot.
Merely support for the statement "we are human". And our psychology drivers result in mixed but studied end results.
