Melroe 220 Spray Coupe

We are looking at buying a Melroe 220 4 wheel spray coupe. Can anyone tell us of the weak spots, what they spray like, what kind of acres to a tank, spray speed, and what to look for when buying one, and what options we would want

The Alberta Farm Machinery Research Centre has not done an evaluation on the Melroe 220, but we have evaluated the 116 and the 3630. The 220 is very similar to the 3630, but it is a 'medium-clearance' machine instead of the 3630's high-clearance. Engine, tank size, spray speed, etc., are all similar. Go to the AFMRC web site (posted at the end of this reply) to check out the summaries of the evaluation reports on these two models. Look under evaluation summaries; pest and weed control equipment; field sprayers and accessories; reports #301(model 116) and #736 (model 3630).
