        I friggin guess!!
If the unions all do it we should too. Fire with fire. Answers my previous check off question regarding what good can they do.
Guess there's pesky seed license issues to deal with instead.

They need to take all the so called farm leaders and sit them in the same room....and get a guy that can represent them with one voice....

The governments of all stripes have been dividing and conquering farmers for decades...

Find a guy that has the balls and the ability to rally farmers that will scare the shit out of politicians...

why.....because what they have been doing ain't been working for any of us...

Off topic ...the WCWGA posed questions to the conservative candidates .....those candidates could say they are going to eliminate BRM altogether and conservatives would still get elected in western canada....

Matter of fact Peter MacKay was in government when they gutted agriculture ...he did nothing....

That was an articulate and to the point. It was easy to tell it didn't come from our fearless leaders, be they farm groups or our provincial politicians.

Well I think Harper was directing policy back then as the ad mentions. He certainly didn't endear himself to the industry. As we see in the Trudeau govt, MPs are just place holders mostly.

Anyway McKay is the guy no matter what. The other candidates don't have the chops. The maritimes have to be flipped first and only one of their own can do that.

                “Under Investigation ......Again !!”
Hmmmm , I brought this up as to one of the reasons the UN seat was a complete waste of Canadian taxpayers money .... and someone actually challenged that and said , what investigation.... lol
One thing about this site it brings out the lurkers and trolls to the surface.

Exactly, sure is glaringly obvious that our western Canadian “Ag Voices” have been doing zero for us on political issues like that. Sad really.
It’s no wonder so many farmers are demanding their check off dollars back ..... completely a waste of money ...... the past two years have proven that ...... ever sconce the canola - China deal gone bad it has exposed how much of a waste our check off dollars are

Ontario’s Grain Growers have already run ads denouncing @JustinTrudeau
for not giving Canadian farmers as much support as @realDonaldTrump
, now they’re running ads linking funding to WE & the lack of support they’re getting. Hits hard.

Grain Farmers of Ontario is the only org that has impressed me in a long, long while. They have stood up for farmers on other important issues as well.

It's time that the other check off supported bunglers get their chain jerked for their misfeasance and misrepresentation.

Since talking has made no difference, the next best way is start a movement to have farmers take back the check off dollars.

                      Stay tuned.

Meanwhile back in Saskatchewan you have APAS just giddy with back patting hoping they can become a politician one day...

Billions wasted in this province on the GTH,,,a new ring road, a stadium sitting empty most of the year,, a carbon capture that costs more to operate than the revenue...and another irrigation project...

And after every announcement not one farm group would stand and say ...hey what about the primary industry in this province ...what about farmers?

Not phucking one group would question the spending and leaving farmers out to hang....

They should be ashamed of their incompetence.

There is a difference representing farmers and lobbying for farmers.
