    Currant and chokecherry cultivars

I am on the lookout of two older varieties of clove currants (Ribes aureum) named "Crandall" and "Black Giant".
Also, if someone has information on named varieties of chokecherries from Quebec. I am looking for a certain large-fruited cultivar.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi There:
I wasn't able to find sources of the clove currants but here is a link to a complete listing of currant and gooseberry suppliers in Ontario, I am sure one of these suppliers will be able to find a source for you:
    http://www.gov.on.ca/OMAFRA/english/crops/resource/currant.htm

Hope that this works out for you....
