    Canada... How did we get to where the 'Law' is not relevant?

    Common Law morality:

    1. Do unto others as you would have done unto you,
    And the Negative Golden Rule, which states;
    Do not do unto others as you would not have others do unto you;
    2. The two fundamental principles of common law:
    Do not infringe upon the Rights, Freedoms or Property of others, and
    Keep all contracts willingly, knowingly and intentionally.
    3. These maxims in common law which include:
    a) That for every wrong there is a remedy,
    b) The end does not justify the means,
    c) Fundamental principals cannot be set aside to meet the demands of convenience or to prevent apparent hardship in a particular case,
    d) Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking the law,
    e) Two wrongs do not make a right, and
    f) One can enlarge the rights of the people; however they cannot be taken away without their informed consent.

    VS:

    Post Modernism which includes a lack of morality:

    "Postmodernism is generally defined by an attitude of skepticism, irony, or rejection of the grand narratives and ideologies of modernism, often calling into question various assumptions of Enlightenment rationality. Consequently common targets of postmodern critique include universalist notions of objective reality, morality, truth, human nature, reason, science, language, and social progress...

    Accordingly postmodern thought is broadly characterized by tendencies to, self-referentiality, epistemological and moral relativism, pluralism, and irreverence."

    Thus PM Justin has no base to work from... standards shift as the direction of the wind changes... and there is no right or wrong.

    Canadian Society cannot achieve application of the 'Rule of Law"... without a Prime Minister whom understands ethics, morals, truth, and objective reality.

    Yet the Liberal Party of Canada... was successful in the application postmodern politics... even if they did not get a majority of the popular vote in the last federal election.

    Postmodernism according to Wikipedia:

    Postmodernism according to Wikipedia:

    I suppose our Canadian culture now lets you decide which 'truth' you believe:

    "In 1996, Walter Truett Anderson described postmodernism as belonging to one of four typological world views, which he identifies as either
    (a) Postmodern-ironist, which sees truth as socially constructed,

    (b) Scientific-rational, in which truth is found through methodical, disciplined inquiry,

    (c) Social-traditional, in which truth is found in the heritage of American and Western civilization, or

    (d) Neo-Romantic, in which truth is found through attaining harmony with nature or spiritual exploration of the inner self."
