    Think she has a shot?

    #2
No, a quick read indicates she is pandering to the social conservative side of the party. The media and the left will tear her apart over it, like they do every other social conservative. But that is the only way to win the leadership when the membership of the party is disproportionately social conservatives, but the majority of the voters are anything but. So by the time a leader has won the leadership, they are already unelectable due to their social stance. But they refuse to learn from their mistakes, apparently thinking it is still 1867, and nothing has changed, so they keep dragging up abortion, and same sex marriage etc, and the cycle repeats.

This country desperately needs a fiscal conservative, with no baggage on the social front that the media can hold against him/her.

That said, I hope I am wrong, and she can appeal to a broader section of society, and perhaps will be untouchable on the social issues since she is a visible minority.

Right now, a lot of Canadians would vote for Genghis Khan just to get rid of the cancer in power right now, so almost anyone has a chance.

Forget the social conservative stuff, she is all in on the climate change cult and UN. Disqualified.

Hey jazz I need more info on her stance on climate crisis. She is against carbon tax. She explained very well her views and how in Canada people should be allowed to have views without ridicule. She also is a believer in separation of church and state and makes that very clear.

I think the most fun part would be a discussion at the debates between her and the idiot about his blackface escapades! Lol

No such thing as a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. Can't take a position that baby killing is Ok while arguing that property rights should be respected. A house divided fails. In addition, so long as there is any credibility put to the climate change scam. person is automatically disqualified. Trouble there is that you are appealing for votes to those who benefit from the scam while arguing for property rights. Reality is canuckistan has been for too long a socialist nation in that wealth transfers are normalized, and is beyond saving. The west may have a chance.

The Sacrificial Lamb for the religious and anti abortion loonies of the social Con party. If she believes in climate change doesn't that splinter the CPC party even more?

Were no lesson learnt with Smiling 2.0? You Righties got to get your shit together if you really want Trudeau out.

She looks like a star candidate who if she can navigate the politics of the leadership race could be cabinet material if the Conservatives win the next election.

But she is too urban and elite to appeal to the mostly rural base of the CPC. Aside from her socially conservative views she is likely a right leaning Liberal on most issues. She is not going to be anti immigrant, an islamaphobe, or in favour of the many extremist wings of the CPC.

                Good luck too her.

She is strongly against rampant immigration. She knows how to answer the social questions that Andrew struggled with. She is a woman and is black. She would be a handful for the groper.

I need to look harder at her stance on climate hoax.

She is strongly pro business and pro pipeline.

I fail to see how the groper could attack her on any front. She is intelligent beyond his pathetic pinhead of a brain by country miles.

She would help bring ppl of color and women to the conservative side, because she does not fit the stereotype.

Why are ppl so bloody scared of her and millions of Canadians social conservative views? What is more scary, a black woman who is against killing babies, or a white man child who is for killing babies with no restriction like every country in the world has?

Personally, I could care less what her stance is on abortion, but the left wing media, and the other parties use this issue EVERY SINGLE TIME, to discredit the far right social conservatives. The country is in the midst of an economic crisis, anarchy is becoming acceptable, and on the brink of separation, abortion is the least of our problems, I don't want to see the fiscal conservatives lose another election due to the radical left using this issue to scare voters because a single candidate brings it up to win the leadership.

Strange thing is the MSM never mention her. If she was a Liberal the CBC would have her front and center of every news cast.

                          Sheep, for you;

Dr. Lewis graduated magna cum laude from the University of Toronto (Trinity College). Thereafter, she obtained a Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Masters in Environmental Studies from York University, an MBA Concentration in Business and the Environment from the Schulich School of Business, and completed a PhD from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. She has two decades of strong litigation experience beginning with some of the strongest Bay Street law firms, prior to starting this firm. She has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals on international law, contracts, climate change and the feed-in-tariff system in renewable energy projects. Her local practice focuses on corporate commercial, real estate and estates, while her international practice is concentrated in the area of cross-border services including immigration, energy law.

Masters in Env Science, published articles on climate change so she is on board. They don't publish articles from people who question the hoax. The feed in tariff subsidy for renewables created a bunch of uneconomical projects now underwater while the debt went onto the govt books.

Not impressed that Peter MacKay says it is important to march in pride parades. Also not impressed he deleted his perfectly fine tweet about the rail blockades earlier last week, simply due to the biased media pressure. Not sure about him yet.
Would like a leader who will stand up and call out the biased media. Also the CBC needs to be privatized. It’s viewership is so small, programs are so poor, that it does not deserve to be funded by my taxes. Privatize and they can do whatever they want.
