Mohawks told to 'dig in' by chiefs.

Leaked audio of meeting between Mohawks and Indian minister. Hereditary chiefs on phone. Told the Mohawks to dig in their battlements and wait until they can break the Invaders economically.

Oka all over again. Except on a national scale. Fun times ahead.

Skippy thinking it might be time to come back. Better not forget the government checkbook.

This will not end well. Hereditary chiefs acting like Kings ignoring dually elected chiefs and many other indigenous people. They should remain cerimonial chiefs like the queen. You can only bluff for so long and play the oppressed
Race card so long until you kill the golden goose.

Article on CBC website quotes the Wet'suwet'en Chiefs as saying there will be no gas pipeline across their territory period. I see our illustrious Prime Minister has decided to stay home from Barbados but not really sure it is going to make any difference. I am glad to see that the greatest effects are down east, they re-elected Trudeau! It is certainly one hell of a mess!

Listened to Michael Enright interview the head of the B.C. Chiefs this morning. He said the hereditary Chiefs are in charge of much larger land area than the elected Chiefs. He said the elected Chiefs are just a construct of Canada's colonial government system and the land they control is like a postage stamp. This mess is just beginning. Canadians who support these demonstrators need to give their head a shake!

Listening to CBC radio in cab. Was breaking news. One of the Indians in the meeting taped the conversation (I imagine so government couldn't renege on any promises made) and was shared with media. Apparently it wasn't a very happy meeting overall. Minister figured he could tell the Indians to roll over and stay dead.

Sure am glad the country gets to see what it is like to deal with them. New invaders obviously aren't taught in citizenship class that the Indians have automatic veto on anything they don't like. Old invaders know that cash generally shuts them up. Seen one old Chinese guy in Toronto interviewed about it on street and he couldn't believe one group of people had so much power to disrupt the country. Back in China they would all be lined up and shot.

There are very few Mohawks at the “Mohawk” blockade. Lots of Americans and professional lefties from Toronto. You look for the people who organized every past blockade on the Mohawk territory - none of them are involved this time

I think that's the story everywhere.

Extinction Rebellion and Idle No More rabble are prominent

                  Anarchists not protesters.

Odd reporter starting to move toward that story.

Report what the people want to hear.

                    No worries on this one as our celebrity Transport Minister has laid down the law;

“All parties must engage in open and respectful dialogue to ensure this situation is resolved peacefully. We strongly urge these parties to do so.”

                    Sure glad he got involved.

Holding the fort till Mr Trudeau can get it all under control.

If it is a few professional non native paid disruptors, the other 90% of natives better get those assholes booted out. We need to see a revolt from within their communities. Only way natives will be respected.

So basically a lot of acting by paid protesters.
Media in Canada uses it to push their agenda.

One elected chief claimed that native protestors were being offered $300/day, $500 if they wear a headdress, LOL! The organizers are preying on the dissolute types.

                          Except it's not LOL stuff.

Interviews show that the protestors largely do not have a clue what they are protesting.

Who is offering them this money? I’m wondering how long it will take Trudeau to move on the protestors if the farmers joined in.
