Is the Internet changing agricultural shopping patterns?

Hi to all. I'm a Calgary-based reporter for the Financial Post working on a story on agriculture and the Internet. I'm focusing on how the Internet is changing (or maybe it's not) where and how farmers spend their money. I'm interesting in talking to producers who have used the Internet to buy/sell products such as seeds, equipment, fertilizers or even livestock. I want to examine the advantages and disadvantages of web shopping and its implications for traditional bricks-and-mortar retailers. Call me collect at (403) 264-8103 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. (MST) or send me an email at imckinnon@nationalpost.com. Please don't hesitate to share your stories and insights with rural and urban dwellers across the country. Thanks very much, Ian.
