    Grain growing thoughts here

Seems to be a seismic shift in thinking here in oz over last couple of months.

    I’m still sitting on fence.

But many starting to think with all the drama in China corona, swine and another round of bird flu, that Australia is in box seat to expand our domestic feedlots for cattle sheep pigs and poultry To supply the ever increasing ins@itable demand from China’s there livestock industry at moment is in disarray.

Only has to get into Indonesia and all hell breaks lose.

Some suggest we will be quarantined fom export prices to a degree as its all gonna get consumed locally to supply meat into China and se Asia.

Sure we’ve got freight advantage and supposedly a disease advantage so hot and dry over much of oz disease struggles to get a foothold.

    So interesting times ahead maybe.

Could be good for world markets tak3 Australian wheat and barley off the supply sheet.

Only takes USA Canada or EU or UK to do a deal with China to supply mega amounts of meat and all comes unstuck here in oz.

So much up in the air right now that no one could possibly forecast how the year ahead will turn out.
When anxiety is 11 on a scale of 1-10 it usually turns out better than expected.
Key will be keeping an eye on the expenses

33 combines repossessed in N AB alone this fall. Not over yet. Dealers have inventory older than two years..
Used drills barely worth scrap. No one's moving. Crops out in places for four years in row. China out of market costing $1.00 a bushel. No end in sight here.

Both bank and manufacturer through dealers.
BMO doesn't fart around taking a combine, they just take land.
So ending up on lots first headed to Ritchie's eventually I imagine.
I'm gonna say most will likely have more against them than they're worth.

Has anyone looked at drill inventory over last year? Combine too for different reasons.
If your looking and find what you want, throw them a bone.

Are 4WD tractors the exception for not dropping in price?
