    Canadas Stealth QE

Here is the bank of Canadas balance sheet. You can see the huge run up in the balance sheet at the end of harpers term and ramped up under skippy. But if you look very closely you can see Canadas own QE program started last year. BoC buying 5 and 10 year mortgage bonds for the first time ever to flatten the yield curve and induce more lending growth.

Harper bought securities for a couple years to keep the TSX from cratering during the great recession and quickly repaid it back. Skippys been doing that for the past 5 years during a period of strong global growth and that debt is still on the books, not repaid.

Dont believe a word skippy or the media tells you about the economy. It went into a stall well before the election and its being propped up with debt and stealth QE and Trump.

Canuckistan has been doing QE since the early '70's as you can see by the perpetually rising holdings of government bonds. How much higher would interest rates be if all those bond were sold to private investors? QE was only news because the FED started doing it in the aftermath of the '08 recession. Inflation tax has been sustaining the canuckistan economy as long as I have been alive otherwise what explains how we get a first world lifestyle off of a third world income stream. 7 out of 10 workers in the canuckistanian economy have joke jobs. These are jobs that only exist due to some government policy. Some of my income is derived from government sources and so is some of yours. The question how much longer does this go on?

I guess we have Pierre Elliot Phucknut to thank for all the goodies he bestowed upon our country. It’s just incredible that we are still paying for all the shit he got away with. Number 1 being that reject province we continually support due to their elite status as Canadiens. Phuck I hate this place now. Just imagine how prosperous we could have been without the divide and conquer tactics of an ugly phuckin frog. Now we gotta deal with his half sons stupidity.

        Junkie

Brian Mulroney (PC) was PM from 1984 -1993, Harper (CPC) was PM from 2006-2015. Take a look at their deficits. Why did they bestow so many goodies to Quebec, especially Harper the so called Calgarian.

What were their excuses when they both had so many Western Canadian MPs?

Very astute, you have hit the nail on the head as to why separation is the only option. It does not, and will not matter which party is in power federally, or where their base of support might be, western Canada's economic interests will always be sacrificed for the benefit of the rest of Canada. And it will only get worse due to demographic shifts, and a resurgent and increasingly protectionist USA

You are apparently a much faster learner than Chuck, as he still hasn't grasped that simple concept.
