SASKFARMER's Avatar Jan 16, 2020 | 08:05 1 So Harry and Megan want to move to Canada. Then Skippy and Mulroney decide Canadians should protect the couple. Skippy says its a great idea that way Sophie will be off his back and he can be on some young.

USA sign the trade deal that Errol said wouldn't happen. yea its a start. What is Captain Canada doing? We still have no sales of Quality canola to China but the crushers are making a fortune buying cheap canola from farmers then selling the oil. So who got hurt? One group, it was farmers and what does BOBOO do, she studies the problem and will get back to us on it. Sort of like the Carbon tax shows me how its hurting farmers. Wow, you would have to be really stupid to not see that every single thing we touch is up in price thanks to it and it is passed on to us the consumer of the product but then when we sell our product we cant pass it on but the elevators and railway can charge it to us. Great system BOBOO great system.

So its what min 37 in Sask and furnaces are running and lights are on thanks to not Solar or Wind but gas, coal, and water. The liberals would want us to turn off the furnace sit in socks jackets and blankets and basically freeze to death. Wonder if Ralph a true liberal turned his furnace off and is doing that. Yea right. Hell skippy was so cold the other day he had his hands in his own pockets.

Speaking of Skippy he went to Edmonton cried and said it was all trumps fault that Iran shoots not one but two missiles at the plane carrying the Canadians. Lets rationally think about this one maybe is a mistake but two is were getting that ****ing plane come hell or high water. Then skippy sides with the Iranians.

Who doesn't believe if we were attacked by the Chinese that skippy would turn in a heartbeat on Canadians and when they said to kill all Canadians he would watch sit back and cry as the action is taken out. Weak is weak and were seeing every day how pathetic he really is.

Here is something else the Carbon tax must be bringing in Billions so where is all the money going?

For farmers, it was the Saskatoon Farm show. Yea they are getting better, and it's nice to see they didn't make people line up in the cold and wait till exactly 9 to open the gates.

Lots to see but the equipment side was lots of walking around and looking but no touching. The busy building was snake oil sales. God, they come up with new shit every year.

New on the speaking stage was Higher Protein meal they are breeding canola for. Yea it will make the middle man more and farmers will still be paid 1974 prices. Nothing changes it all stays the same.

Trump gets round one of the trade deals, Markets are cautious and farmers in the USA have a glimmer of hope.

In Canada, farmers are one sad bunch. Lots are wondering about 2020 and beyond. Lots politely looking and talking but deep down they are watching their pennies. That's the profit for the crop they grow. Meanwhile, the guys with big profit are begging us to continue the shit show of overproducing to feed the pigs. Come one come all, see what gov money to us can do to help our bottom line, I mean farmers out moving there product. We need more than producing lots and get paid 1934 prices. This shit show has to change or something will break. It seems to be farmers.

Beyond meat is looking to the pea market to fill the protein void in tasty shit food, while paying the same price as dog food pays for peas. Yea winning.

Urea leads usa fertilizer prices downward. So she is still dropping. Wonder what is happening in Canada.

The good news it's raining a bit in Australia. YES, now that's a good news story.

Hunker down turn up the heat and say what every westerner is thinking.

  • SASKFARMER's Avatar Jan 16, 2020 | 08:11 2 Oh, land sales are still happening and the bigger price is now being paid not by the investors or Chinese but by Canadians. North of us a decent sale of 7 quarters on rolly hilly stones and bush got a decent price.

Way north really good prices on some really good 20 and it was all locals.

If the big sale happens to the west of us it will be the same.

So is it the same as always at the top the investor comes in buys cheap then a little higher to new investors then the last guy keeps the game going as the locals start to buy, then the peak or reset happens. Reply With Quote

SASKFARMER's Avatar Jan 16, 2020 | 08:19 4 Oh in the USA Nancy made the impeachment continue on again as she now marched it to the next level. Same day NBC has trumps, female supporters, down and Biden is up. This is the same news organization that had Hillary with a landslide last time.

Who says the media isn't on one side.

CBC says volcanos are now the result of climate change.

CBC is running low on cash as the advertisement has dried up. Viewership is down hard. Skippy will come to the rescue.

Harper stepped down from a conservative fund group to make sure Charest won't make it. Ah, conservative politics we just can't get shit right. Also, Peter is thinking of running or did say he will run and Rona is getting a liberal job as ambassador to the USA. Watch that is thanks to skippy as he was bat shit scared she would will and call him out.

Seems the only two provinces that don't think skippy is doing a good job are the people of Saskatchewan and Alberta we hate his guts. Reply With Quote
SASKFARMER's Avatar Jan 16, 2020 | 08:23 5 Bucket it's like all investors some are smart and know when to fold them and when to hold them. Hell, a guy who sold beside me on the west land rebought down south by a guy on Agriville for what he sold the west land and then bought basically at the top. How much profit is left when your entering into a investment at the top.

It's like the stock market some think its a deal and still buy the day before a crash and use borrowed money. Then the fall and shit show starts the ball rolling. Reply With Quote
SASKFARMER's Avatar Jan 16, 2020 | 08:25 6 Oh, fun fact FBN now has 10000 members. let that sink in.

On the equipment side maybe a heavy Regina manufacture is selling out. Reply With Quote
Jan 16, 2020 | 08:31 7 Saskfarmer, you are rather verbose this morning😂 It must be a beautiful morning down south, but sounds like you like it a bit nippy. We are planning a winter trip along the Louisianna gulf shores (shreveport/ mobile, baton rouge/ new orley). Got any suggestions?

I don't get the land sales at all. This is basically land speculation and guys will simply be running all those acres for the bank and input companies. Does it make sense to own an asset where you take all the risk to glean off 5% of the potential income and have to do all that work too?

And owning big plots of land in an industry that's losing primary producers by the day. Who will buy that from you in 25 years?

What is the catalyst that will give this industry its next leg up? Aggressive trade expansion? Nope, diversification? nope, Higher commodity prices? Not going to ever happen.

Trump just showed how weak Canada really is. Skippy is flying around and calling any leader who will take his call instead of calling and working with the big dog that protects our asses and lets us participate in their economy. 90% of our trade is now locked into NA with one trading partner and we treat them like sht. Jan 16, 2020 | 09:12 10 Mckay and Charest are red tories and they cna get some seats that we need in the east, it ill still be sacrifice the west. You will see both of those characters supporting carbon taxes and probably equalization too and wanting to keep power east.

If Ambrose gets in, she will be rejected by Quebec because she is a westerner. She can get some votes in the 905 though but its doubtful enough to take majority. She will have to promise female GTA voters something climate as well. The west still loses. Reply With Quote

  • Jan 16, 2020 | 09:27 11 Politicians...isn't what we need....we need people that can think and will tell bureaucrats what to do as opposed to letting bureaucrats tell them what to say....

Example : Bobo needs to study the carbon tax effects on farmers....well every other industry can download those costs to consumers ....farmers can not..

If you measure everything I emit ...then the government should measure what I sequester and pay the correlating price.... Reply With Quote

Jan 16, 2020 | 10:24 13 There isnt going to be a truimphant conservative break through in this country. But you can see the tea leaves. CPC is trying to swing a moderate candidate and try to weaken the minority. If trudeau gets another weakend minority he will be gone. 6 seats were lost to PPC in the last election, should have been another 10 for the CPC. Skippy should have had about 140 seats and much weaker mandate. If he sees it going that way during the next election he probably resigns and Freeland is up next. Only Ambrose can counter that strategy. Otherwise Mckay is probably the only guy the west will support. Reply With Quote
SASKFARMER's Avatar Jan 16, 2020 | 12:07 14 BoBoo needs to look at all our costs and do a paper on how it’s not costing farmers much. How about paying me to put carbon in the ground and store it. Oh wait a easterner paying a western farmers never will happen in this shit hole. Reply With Quote

Headed on same route more or less. Starting at Austin Tx heading to South Padre island. Stopping for the real tour at King Ranch and going to Los Fresnos Rodeo and Fair then back thru Galveston and then following the coastline as far as Pensecola Florida and turning around and heading back to Texas. • Jan 16, 2020 | 12:38 16 Says on the news Freeland has already moved into the PMO office with Justin. Obviously skippy is going to bail leave us with a trillion in debt and shuffle it on to someone probably even more incompetent and who lunches with Soros. This has to be stopped somehow. CPC needs to get it together.

As for harry and megan, give them a real job in Canada. Let them run the mint or something and move to winnipeg. What better job for them than working for the place pumping out the queens likeness on our devaluing currency. Reply With Quote

Grant to the rescue with his labour fund!!

Let’s not dampen the mood talking about his 2.4% per annum return or the 4.5% MER he receives year in year out. Let’s not talk about his fund being subsidized by the taxpayers year in year out. Nothing to see here folks. Ag is doing just fine

-Federal Protein Supercluster is giving Corteva and others $27 million
-Canadian Tire getting $2-3 million subsidy to put electric vehicle charging stations in there parking lots
-Bombardier’s last bailout didn’t help and they’re recording big losses. Trudeau and Morneau will likely cut them a new cheque Reply With Quote

Lots of Farm King and Versatile high speed disks sitting on the lot here in Vegreville at the old Ezee on plant. Financials at Buhler Industries not pretty either. Both of these companies need the next big thing as far as product is concerned. I guess the Degelman family figures it is time to cash out. Leave the new shareholders holding the bag. • SASKFARMER's Avatar Jan 18, 2020 | 08:50 26 Oh so cold again this morning.

Thank the Liberals for the Carbon tax because heating your home in Canada is a luxury. Florida is going to get cold for three days this week also no Carbon tax can turn the heat up and not freeze.

Thank a liberal for food and everything you do is a luxury and needs not one but two taxes. GST and Carbon tax.

Ah hell just Thank the GTA and Montreal and Maritimes for voting in the biggest group of crooks ever.

Liberals a Disease that's killing Canada one province and country at a time.

Happy Saturday I think ill snowshoe out to the sled shack and have a nice fire and hotdog and read. Ah, winter is fun and peaceful. Reply With Quote

Govts are going to learn a lesson again on over taxation no matter where they try to hide it and behind what fake cause. Remember the GST going to solve our debt? Its higher than ever. Gas tax going to build some major roads in the country? lots in disrepair.

The carbon tax will work just not the way they expect. People wont drive less or install solar panels or whatever, they will stop eating out or buying stuff, many live close enough to the US to make a run. You will just see it in the GDP and it will all be a wash anyway.

Look for it in Canadas numbers this year. We are running a 1.1% GDP and that has been goosed by huge debts. Reply With Quote

The wind was 40-60 last night and last week. Good time to get some power right? Nope, natives windmill sitting idle for past week. Turns out cant take a chance on running them in our gusty winds. It might gust up to 70 or 90 and rip the thing apart. Reply With Quote
