I can't remember the exact day but about a couple of weeks ago.

Living in the wide open spaces, I've been enjoying the sunsets and rises since I've been old enough to appreciate the beauty of them. Some start out weak and tepid but slowly build into a climactic masterpiece that only lasts minutes then slowly wane into obscurity.

That's the second thing that people from Toronto wouldn't understand.

                        Or most any city.

Some time ago we had folks from the city visiting our farm, staying until well after nightfall.

The kids, and even the adults somewhat, were simply blown away by the sight of millions of stars pinpointed on the blacked sky.

The stars, on a clear night, still fascinate me after 6 decades of viewing them. Imagine the amazement of the youngsters who had not seen them before.

                            ......one of these times.

These were all the same approaching front.

I love those stormy summer evenings, as long as they don’t blow the roofs off. Remember the song, “I Love a Stormy Night”?
